niseNSF Posted February 5, 2003 Share Posted February 5, 2003 yeah man i mean im not from the camp that thinks this genre is like "owned" by one person...BUT, theres certain limits to things. these kids have pushed biting to criminal levels. the worst is the whole "i read subway art" cop-out. haha. show me in subway art where these styles are?! sure, these styles have roots in that era, but the style YALL are painting is the version that has been distilled thru REAS and then AMAZE, then GREY, then all the others. almost every one (myself included) has thrown a trick or two from this in vogue style into the mix, but taking the whole fucking thing kit and kaboodle is just sad. especially since it looks like yall are actually painting (which is more than a lot can say) and have some skills actually. the mark surface/mark walls ESPO bite is like the nail in the coffin. yall just need to hit the reset button or something. I guess because Vault makes it look good and can throw a dab of innovation onto an old style. Whatever, biting or not biting is so subtle. Everyone does it to a degree so we shouldnt be so harsh on others. C'mon really, does it actually piss you off that much? What a waste of energy.
