right on it doesnt matter what "type" of simple, really, its all to get letter structure, which exists in simples bc they are SIMPLE. with no dis-proportionate lines unlike pieces, burners, throws, etc... ...was jw bout the name.. no tmoney not you... those KESO throws are ok, but a generic style... i have the same problem a lot i think...

yeh throw it away. haha sorry man just kidding... the bend in the e doesnt match the bend in the s, it's too curvy. id also lose the center thing on the e...or the bend... but the fills pretty tight and overall clean, a lot better than you started with, good improvement i know its mad hard not to throw in random shit and keep it somewhat simple... here's a quick unfinished sketch for 'enor' and some random shit i did today at different periods of time during work... sorry, no confidential information, haha...

This is because you dont have letter structure down. thats what people mean by that, a solid add-on should pretty much incorporate the letter structure itself and not make it look deformed... thats what people mean by work on simples, you learn what MAKES a D O and an E, and you can pretty much go crazy with your letters while keeping their structure intact...

mos, i meant you should draw your first lines very light, and only add the darker lines when you have SKETCHED something that looks better... thats the premise of sketching... otherwise it's freestyle/modern art.. truth be told, you should prolly just sketch all you can and not post it on here for a couple of months or so. you are at a point where you aren't really fully understanding the crits, and we're at a point where everyone has pretty much told you all they can to help..

please use the advice given... all of your stuff has looked the same, still out of propotion, etc. dont draw your lines so dark... for example, give a couple of light pen/pencil swoops when making your circular/oval 'o' so you can choose the best one and smoothly add 1 CONTINOUS LINE... hope that makes sense..
