  7. really? i thought it seemed disjointed and the fractured way in which it told the story made it difficult for real character development. As soon as u were getting into one thing, it jumps years into the future to something else and never backtracks. I dunno. I was dissapointed.
  8. Funny turning to a forum for a thing like this, but i really know little about this sort of thing and wondered if maybe u guys did. A couple days ago i recieved a letter from cablevision saying that they recieved a notification from NBC Universal claiming that their work has been transmitted over the internet from my account. The letter went on to say that NBC may choose to pursue legal action against me, and if they choose to do so that cablevision will be required by law to release all my account information to them. Ive looked around the internet a little bit and am seeing all kinds of numbers being thrown around in terms of fines...and pretty much all of them are scaring the shit out of me. The bittorent client in question is Vuze, and the supposed file is "the inside man." The letter didn't say that they were definitely going to pursue legal action, so im wondering, should i look for a lawyer now anyway?
  9. Heinous act aside, this girls booty looks like it could catch the D real hard

  11. This was pretty raw. dragged on towards the end but raw none the less.
  12. I thought this was garbage. Senseless violence without purpose. No story. And all the characters were just plain unlikeable.
  13. I dont understand, so some of these guys have racked up 40,000 posts simply "Roleplaying"?
  14. whos dao? can anyone tell me without bein a complete prick? (obv im expecting a ratio of 50:1 in asshole comments to actual answers)
  15. It's the Rules of engagement; if your involved in drugs or gangs and you get shot, even completely fucked up you dont snitch. However, if your a law abiding victim of a violent crime, then underworld codes dont really apply. Tate wasn't a civilian, nd he took the proper road out. I had a friend who got arrested last month and couldnt face up to the time he'd have to do..so he snitched. Now 2 of my other friends are getting ready to go in, and that 1st "friend" is in the wind somewhere. Hahah it's kinda sad cause my circle of friends is a little depleted these days. Anyway, in this particular scenario, the crimes in question were all drug crimes, and its infuriating that someone would snitch if they got caught selling. More so than the murder stuff, cause all sorts of things escalate into THAT, but if your selling a Narcotic you must know your gonna get caught EVENTUALLY. Thats the case then mentally prepare yourself or whatever the fuck u gotta, or just dont do the dirt. If i could see that person again, i think id ask him how he thought his little story was going to end.
  16. Who is DAO and why is he funny? ive been around the forum for awhile, tho i aint a thread-rat like some of yall, so can someone clue me in to the joke?

  19. You guys should read David Harvey's "a brief history of neoliberalism,".. excerpt; during the 1970s business refined its ability to act as a class, submerging competitive business instincts in favor of a joint, cooperative action in the legislative arena.. rather than individual companies seeking only special favors the dominant theme in the political strategy of business became a shared interest in the defeat of bills such as consumer protection and labor law reform, and in the enactment of favorable tax, regulatory and anti trust legislation. n order to realize this goal, business needed a political class instrument and a popular base. they therefore actively sought to capture the republican party as their own instrument. nd a little further on iit says the republican party needed, however, a solid electoral base if it was to colonize power effectively. it was around this time that the republicans sought an alliance with the christian right. The latter had not been politically active in the past, but the foundation of jerry falwells 'moral majority' as a political movement in 1978 changed all of that. its a really interesting book
