  1. Marc Bolan's jacket. T Rex tattoo on a black dude. Tuff
  2. First we do this. 3 dozen biscuits from scratch. 10lbs of mashed potatoes. 5 lbs of secret recipe mac n cheese a gallon of my famous cream gravy 5lbs of green beans 4 dozen cupcakes 1/2chocolate 1/2red velvet we stay fat in the souf I did this. On my boyfriend's sponsor. RIP KIDS 4DC. I also did that PMA on my thumb. This. I forgot to take pics last night. More things happened.
  3. Yeah. My homegroup is tonight. But I sucked at time management and am running late. So I will do to a later meeting. I do the damn thing.
  4. Even with no visible tattoos....he does not "blend in". I don't like plain things. I am going to take more pics this weekend of the rest of em. My one friend has some super super good ones. I did one on this chick last weekend that was RIP in Nordic runes for her good friend that just passed away. I like stuff like that.
  5. My man had 1 tattoo when I met him. It is hidden away. He now has 2 stick and pokes. That "killroy was here" up there. And a WHAT WE DO IS SECRET. I don't want him to get a whole lot of tattoos. And he doesn't want me to get my back, stomach, or back of my thighs. We'll see what happens with that.
  6. Panthers are forever cool. As are snakes, skulls, and daggers. If it is cool when it's made, it will be cool forever. Even if it fades and your skin wrinkles...it just adds more character to it. Lately, I have been doing ones that I shoulda done when I was 13. PMA on my hand. Black Flag bars on my palm. The one I am about to do is gonna take the cake when it comes to teenage icons. For me, it's not about everything having to have some deep meaning behind it. It's about getting things that I like to look at. I have ones from when I was 18 that I still like. They were done well and have held up well and even though that was a shit time in my life, there were good times and it reminds me of those times. Remember the good, forget the bad.
  7. Fairly hygienic. New needles come sterile. New caps each time. Saran wrap on the work surface. Clean rinse water, clean paper towels. ...sometimes. Not always. The only one I've ever had problems with was a tooth I did on my arm. In memory of a tooth I had pulled. In the first few days after it was done, I went to Schlitterbahn. AKA The Hottest Coolest Time In Texas. (a water park that is river water) Bobbing around in river water all day made it go gross. It didn't get super gnar though. Just looked gross for a week. Then faded fast. I just treat em like other tattoos. Wash em twice a day. Use Aquaphor. No problems.
  8. Post a pic, dude. I am already so stoked on what I am gonna do this weekend.
  9. Current obsession. http://www.jonmoritsugu.com/ Mod Fuck Explosion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5P8qmJ_gfk Terminal U.S.A. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOalxvVFAW4 Fame Whore https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aLVhLhkhvk Scum Rock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXXRIzqPVF8 The cutest couple ever. I appreciate. To the fullest. Yep.
  10. This is rad. I can relate to the eating of fries and juice a lot when a traveling vegetarian. I took a trip to Athens once. I went just for the street dogs and alley cats. Awesome pics...
  11. My first tattoos were self-done stick-and-pokes. At the age of 13. Under the influence of massive amounts of cheap whiskey. Done with a syringe and India Ink. On my fingers. I didn't do any for a while. Then around the age of 18, while running from the law...I decided to make it a weekly thing. Done with my hobo friends. While sitting on the sidewalk. It was a "bonding" thing. I let a 15 year old runaway tattoo my face. Then I took him to SF. He disappeared one day. Then about 10 years later, I ran into him again. In Dallas. He was successful at whatever job he had. And a member of Half Dead. That was well-known for giving people hand-pokes. Stick Pin Ben was his name. I left them alone for a number of years. Concentrated on getting old ones covered up. With things bigger and better. Then a few years ago I once again picked up my sewing needle and India Ink. Gave myself one as a symbol of a super good friendship with a person on here. It has a circus tent. And some letters. TSCB. Its Top Secret. Now that I am in my 30's. And have a lot of really nice tattoos, I have once again gotten back into these things. We have Sunday night dinner parties. After dinner, we give each other and ourselves tattoos. It's fun. And some good stuff has come out of it. Like memories. 3 of us have matching "WHAT WE DO IS SECRET" tattoos. Cute stuff. Here's one of those things I make. This thing on my leg took me a few hours. The only pic I have where you can see what a mess my fingers are. Blurry, but this thing is super cute. chopsticks did that clipper ship with LDN. When I was in London, duh. and rolling nowhere did that snake thing. in his kitchen. Heavy Metal Mustard Party. Save the remarks about how there's already a BAD TATTOO thread. Anyone else? Also. Everything about this is awesome.
  12. They will announce another 100+ bands soon. My little cousin is coming into town. Just to visit the family and see Austin. I have never met her. She is maybe 22. I'm gonna take her to some shows. Yep.
  13. Time is once again approaching. I might do some of this. If you are around, and into this sort of thing...you just might see me around. Or not.
  14. I will let you know whenever I finish the zines. Right now I have a lot of projects that I am working on at once. Just got word from a friend I ran into over the weekend that he wants me to make a mosaic for him. I still have about five others to do for other people. It's good to be busy.
  15. I ran into my ex-bff last night at a show. We were bffs from the age of 6-16. We stopped hanging out due to my drug usage. He now organizes a pretty well respected punk fest in Austin. He's made a name for himself and I am proud of him. For the first time in our lives, he told me he is proud of me. It was a good feeling. I didn't realize how much of a mess I was when I was living it. But the difference is visible to those around me. It's hard to see change when you are doing it on a day to day basis. But to step back and look at the progress you've made in a 6 month time span, it's pretty mind blowing.
  16. I had made attempts in the past to clean my life up. Some were successful to varying degrees. Nothing like what is happening now. I would quit heroin and crack and just smoke tons of weed and drink to excess. Or take pills. And convince myself that I was doing good. I still had problems in my life as a result of my vices. It's not as hard as people make it out to be. You just have to want it. And be willing to do whatever you are told to do. Even if you think it is total bullshit. I've buried literally hundreds of friends in the 20 years I was involved in that lifestyle. I am lucky to have a circle of friends that made it out alive and are all sober now. It's a good scene to be part of. I am grateful for the life I've been given.
  17. I was gonna cut my hair in a Chelsea recently. Then I remembered I have a head full of scars. And am in my 30s. And own very few Fred Perry's. So I nixed the idea. I think the idea was born after I got a really rad "OI" shirt at Goodwill for two dollars. Neat punks are neat. Upon second thought, I did make zines for a job I used to have in the late 90s. Working with a street outreach team and teaching squatter hobo kids how to shoot up and have sex safely. They were pretty good zines. I am currently working on a zine. Of my own personal secrets. And another zine. Of my personal stories and photos. Should be aight.
  18. Also saw David Leibe Hart from Tim & Eric. His band rules. He's a weirdo. Was in town doing a show for a buddy's bday with Greg Ginn of Black Flag. Was gonna meet up with them for lunch at Hooter's. But I decided I would rather sleep. Also ran into Tony Hundahl a few times. Gonna go get tattooed by him in the next few weeks. Stoked.
  19. This movie is so good. A friend of mine keeps trying to get me to do one of these things. I don't wanna.
  20. He was nice to me. His lady was nice to me. Maybe he's a shitbag to other people, but that isn't my concern.
  21. Also...between 2 people...we spent around $300 this weekend. The majority of which was on merch and food. You can't put a price on happiness or memories. It was well worth every cent.
  22. Taco Cannon. Like a Tshirt cannon. Only more delicious.
  23. Jerks are my key demographic. The heart and banner says "NOT YOU" My first professional tattoo, made when I was 18. I don't really care if people think I am arrogant or not. Or if people hate what I have to say and find it to be dull and predictable. The opinion of others isn't going to change what I know about myself.
