when I was 13, I got hit in the head with a stray skateboard. the tail sliced right below my eyebrow, right above my eye. took 25 sticthes to pull it back together. right after it happened, I knew I was hurt, but kinda out of it from the blow to the head. I asked the kids I was with if I was fucked up bad, and one of them puked. I knew I was in trouble at that point, lol. everything healed up well, but it hurt for months as it was healing. good luck with that.
