    I met this girl named Alexis on a plane from Atlanta last year, in March; I was coming back to DC from Dayton and happened to be seated next to her. She was a freshman at Clark.     That *mega ramp shit is the definition of robotic skating, and has zero at all to do with style.

    The more you open your mouth on this subject the more you prove that you don't know WTF you're talking about.

    You're right dude.

    Super fat/huge and tweaked out 540's have absolutely no style at all.

    But stiff and sketchy 900's are oozing with it.

    Tried to edit my last post to add this request, but couldn't.

     

     

    I know this was probably asked a bunch before in the old thread, but this is the new thread.

    Any recomendations for shop/artists in Seattle WA.?

     

    I'm headed there for a quick trip,

    and since that lame ass hurricane fucked up my hella sikk tattz plans for NYC I've got some money

    and an empty space on my arm where there should be an awesome snake or something.

     

    I'm not familliar with the area at all, and all I know about tattoo wise is Derek Noble.

     

    I'm sure theres a lot of good artists there abouts, clue me in!

    Where are you staying?

    I had a really good experience at Under The Needle about 2 weeks ago.

    I got tattooed by Chris Adams (so did my wife) and he was great, you can see the anchor he did for us a few pages back. There are a few guys there who are doing quality work though.

    Fist hooked me up with a good PM, I'll forward it onto you.

    Funny you should say that, cause Danny Way might as well be a robot with all his bionic body parts.

     

    Seriously though, I've never heard anybody mention Danny Way and style in the same sentence.

    Danny Way if anything falls into the robotic skater category, and always has.

     

    Be real... you really don't know shit about skateboarding and are just trying to jump into the conversation because you saw me posting and have a borderline hard-on for me.

     

    Inventing/murdering the super ramp wasn't robotic. Neither were all the tricks he's nailed over it. Also your hard on for yourself is way past borderline.

    And as for Tony Hawk, do you people calling him wack also hate on Rodney Mullen?

     

    Cause both of them look stiff as a board style wise, but both of them are legends for a reason.

    Personally I could give a fuck about vert or Tony Hawk, but just saying though.

     

    Haters gonna hate.

     

    Nobody is hating on either of these guys.

    But watching a robot skateboard isn't very entertaining.

     

    Look at Danny Way, he's almost as technically sound as Hawk was but he has tonnnnnnnnnnes more style and is funner to watch skateboard.
