  3. ... a 39' Ford Coupe?!? holy sht did you stretch the chassis  Tamiya has an RX7 in 1/24 I don't know where on line they're for all the little rivets on a Vickers Mk VIb scratchbuild in 1/15 scale http://mailer.fsu.edu/~akirk/tanks/India/GB-VickersLightTank-MarkVIB-India.jpg
  4. nice start what type of paint for the fill and outline? be neat to see this weathered and the reporting marks and numbers stamped back on
  5. Taylor Swift, in what scale ?
  6. ^^ that's super awesome ! Great composition with the plant in the middle and the train going though it in figure eight almost seems like there are two trains running simultaneously even the buff squad was out working
  7. OUTSTANDING! and great photo effect (can't give you more props until given to others first)
  8. that building up there is pretty cool. could use a little more depth in the weathering but cool enough the trucks and wheels on those covered hoppers look outstanding and the RBOXs look great over all the tip on using coffee - never heard of this but sounds like it would work. I just use paints and pastels Load Limit, go for it and post pictures here or in GWRXR
  9. speakin about layouts and modules we checked this one out last weekend older era theme... but I saw one modern RBOX they didn't paint the tires with white or yellow stripes on this yard goat
  10. yes, that's awesome. Do they manufacture this one exactly or will there be some modifications in order?
  11. what scale did you end up with? HO is much more affordable and variations availability
  12. looks like my model building bench everyday! terrarium diorama is an excellent idea
  13. for these black blocks, brush by hand and it will look right. try using dark dark gray, almost black dark gray. It will look more scale when finished. for this RR information and 'BLT DATE' info box, hobby shops and online retailers sell RR decals in scale. craft stores such as Joanns and Michaels sell dry transfers in different styles and sizes. also for the 'BLT DATE' info box, search through old decals from model aircraft kits of yours or your buddy's, or ebay to create you own. a little bit of cutting with a hobby knife will be necessary hope that helps
  14. Looks pretty close to the prototype Do you plan to stamp out the reporting marks and other RR info on your car?
  15. Right ons. Good that it was helpful to your builds Hobby Shops and online retailers sell decals and dry transfers for the reporting marks, numbers, etc.
  16. nice! got any track to set these on?
  17. I made it from a mini-BIC lighter. The whole conversion is pictured step by step here: http://gwrxr.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=1&action=display&thread=36 the gray primer would be good, with a drop or two of yellow mixed in
  18. thanks. I saw these before and looked into my LHS but none in stock yet. At $33 + S/H, from the net, I can't go that high this is what inspired the conversion of a reefer I already had
  19. thanks, sorry slow reply. Work and World Cup has got me occupied
  20. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=131332 http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=587875 the reefer conversion project has progressed to this cutting, fabrication, and assembly is complete and under primer
