  1. All on the digi still... Sigma SD9. I'm hoping to get an SA-9 soon so I can play around with film and not have to screw around with different brands of lenses, but may end up with something with an M42 mount instead. Sorry, no photoshop here so these were sized by photobucket, some probably badly. First, the drunkenness: Now the others:
  2. I'm not online much anymore, don't have any with me right now but I do have some stunning examples of alcoholism taken over the weekend at home, and I'm getting ready to go on another photo walk right now... this thread rocks.
  3. The indoor ISO 1600 shots look much better than the outdoor, probably because it isn't as easy to spot the general haze being produced on the film . .. They look better than indoor low-light shots on my SD-9 at ISO 400.
  4. Welcome to the new board all! Here are some pictures from the past week or so:
  5. Yeah, its a handheld flash being carried around the room and flashed during a 15 second exposure @ f22

  8. I just bought a cheap-ass manual vivitar flash for $20.00 which is suiting my needs just fine right now. The automatic sigma flashes that my camera requires range from $150-200, but sigma stuff is usually more expensive.
  9. I had some fun times playing around with 15+ second exposures and multiple flashes the other night, I'll post later, but for now, BUMP
  10. http://www.luminous-landscape.com/reviews/.../mf-backs.shtml for whoever was asking about MF digital backs. They are really expensive but at resolutions of 41MP effective ...
  11. Thanks, and yes, that's a Boone's, strawberry kiwi or something I believe. We brought her some expensive wine since she was modelling for us. :-)

  15. splorg couple from the other day. I had the camera on ISO 400 when it wasn't necessary and it hurt the quality of a couple of these. Photobucket hurt the quality of another. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v238/lafayettephoto/IMG02394.jpg'> http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v238/lafayettephoto/IMG02402.jpg'> http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v238/lafayettephoto/IMG02415.jpg'> http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v238/lafayettephoto/IMG02411.jpg'> http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v238/lafayettephoto/IMG02409.jpg'>
  16. EL BUMPO IS SPANISH FOR "THE BUMP"
  17. Right on, just wondering. They recently bought an 8700 for work and nobody there really knows how to use it, I'm supposed to hold a little class on it some time. When I first got the SD9, the size was killing me. I think it is about the largest DSLR they make anyway, and I was used to carrying a Sony F707 around my neck everywhere I went. I got used to it though, and I take it everywhere now.
  18. There isn't anything really specific I would say, you've got a pretty clean simple there. It's art, so this is your style. Do what you want with it.
  19. Rage: Any reason for not going for a DSLR since you were in the price range for a EOS 300D, D70 (or SD9 for that matter :-) ? 20. http://www.banthis.com/pics/cancrush.gif'> I can't keep up with this thread because I normally check 12oz in public places and it seems to have turned into the HARDCORE PORN GIF HALL OF FAME SUPERTHREAD, but whatever. .. I'm not sure if that had been posted or not.
