Guest beardo Posted September 30, 2003 Share Posted September 30, 2003 holy crap, this month flew right by Subject: better pay for truckers To: President George Bush September 29, 2003 dear sir, i hope the law better pay for a hours work goes into effect. my husband is a over the road truck driver. do you think 25 cents a mile will support six kids and his wife?will it don't.my husband is a good father and pays child support.afterthat is taken out,and money for his food and showers ,laundry on the road. there is nothing left over for the rest of his kids and myself.its a good thing i have a job.but things are tight finacually. truck drivers go threw alot of stress of driveing and being away from there love ones. and its really hard on our 10 yr old with her daddy gone.people do not realize our food is taken to stores by truck drivers,our cloths and cars as well.if it wasn't for truck drivers we all would be starveing,going naked and on foot.i have alot of respect for the american truck drivers. they need better pay. thank you sir for your time in reading my email.and god bless you. sarcoxie , DC ************* yeah, what Bunny said Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
