firstly, you can find those AOL cd's that have like 100 free hours everywhere, they only work once apparently but they should tide you over.

secondly, you can access your school account through your home computer (ask your lecturers or the lbrary staff or student services about this. and/or you can use your friends or other pepoles log ins through your home computer.

thirdly, stop being such a jew and just pay the $20 a month and get a good reliable, unlimited downloads, with email, and additional features.

mine costs ten dollars a month

i used to have aol, and when i switched, my modem wouldn't work. the tech suport people at my new isp couldn't figure it out. i "accidentally" fixed it when i reinstalled the modem. here's what i did for a while: i had this isp cd from staples, called 'peoplepc", and when you follow the instructions to sign up, about halfway into it, you're connected. then just start internet explorer. it's a bit of a hassle though, because it takes some time each time you want to sign on.

they only work once, but you can grab other ones after your freebee is

up. simply grab another disc, slap it in, and make sure you've got a different

person with a credit card. my girl and i hooked up more than a year of aol shits

thanks to this loophole. downside is aol stinks like a sweaty crotch.

i'm using free internet right now.

you do not need a credit card for those aol cds..

the funny thing is, my shit has never run out.

i upgraded once from 8.0 to 9.0, that was about 6 months ago, then i moved a few months after that..i'm not sure if i reinstalled or not.

i've got a stack of about 5 aol 9.0 cds sitting on my table right now..

they usually have them free at post offices..

i heard they might stop giving away so much free internet, because aol is realizing it's costing them big time..

and no wonder!!

i think anyone who is paying for aol is getting fucking suckered like a chump.

muhhhhuuuhhahahahahaaa

iot kept me on a land line though.

i live alone, so it's given me an excuse to never get a cell phone.

my phone's busy right now.

no one's calling anyway.

whatever.

it's free.

to sign up for the free startup fee, they

need your credit card info 'in case' you decide to stay with them,

or in case you go over the free time limit.....otherwise they

won't hook you up cuz they'd get double burned(heh).

at least that was our experience.
