  1. I've been searching this thread for some flicks of Styles. It's been over an hour and I haven't seen one, am I tripping in thinking he was a Modesto Lord?
  2. Wished we could'a cought some Japan DE, but always nice to see some DE cats. Have to give it up to Bolk TsL, can't walk anywhere in my county without seeing his name. keep it up.
  3. >lord of the flies!!!! refreshing to see some LORDS shit, and of course gotta give it up to Sigh though, big ups throughout this thread.
  4. tell krylon how you feel...http://www.krylon.com/main/level_template.cfm?levelid=6&sub_levelid=14&content=sub_level
  5. I always said that if they truley wanted to stop graff, all they had to do was make it so you couldn't switch tips. Yet i never thought it would happen for the sole reason, that spraypaint companies thrive off our subculture. how many people actually buy spray paint to paint a fuckin lawn chair, or a rusty barbecue, yet alone who buys colors like watermellon for legal shit. Krylon WILL return to their old tip system, because if they don't they will go bankrupt. Yet if they do survive, expect other companies to do the same, because it will greatly reduce graffiti. People can't aford those expensive ass specialty european cans. :o
  6. Re: American WholeCar thread... troubles posting sorry:o
  7. Re: when it's all said and done, modest mouse will probably be one of my favorite bands ev They were real big users back then but believe they're off the heavy shit now. From Lounge (Closing Time): She was talking with syllable lisp And everybody she knew was going to get the twist And they all went down and did the porqupine And everybody was feeling high A little hidden heroin reference.:scrambled:
  8. Re: when it's all said and done, modest mouse will probably be one of my favorite bands ev Great thread, wish people would stop talking about when they started listening to the band though, and throw out there favorite lyrics! What makes them so great is the way a song seems like it is just a bunch jiberish and at first listen it seems to not make sense. Isaac explains it best in the song Here It Comes with the lyric "Make a point to make no sense" A lot of Modest Mouse songs follow the same format. Each line makes perfect sense unto itself. Like an individual thought. Weaving these scattered thoughts into a song is sheer genius. Thats how you get hooked. All the songs have good tunes. The way isaac breaks his words up it's hard understand what he is really saying. So you listen to a song a hundred times to try to figure it out. Once you figure out the words you try to figure out what they mean. So you start singing them to yourself at home, at school, work, even in the shower. By then it's to late you are addicted. People see you walking aroud with a confused look of concentration on you face, mumbling incoherantly to youself. All on the sudden you are the crazy guy. You try to explain and make even less sense. "Freeze your blood and stab it into me" sounds kinda crazy out of context. Nevermind maybe thats just me.
  9. This is true, say you paint something while standing on the bar (which is flimsy) and or the little ridge that runs along the middle of tank. Your shit will be buffed the next time the tank is filled by nasty ass black shit which overspills on to the tank. they also sit in the back of businesses waiting to be filled, which is one of the reasons why they are so easy to hit

    Japan

Woah... was tie in japan... i didn't think he traveled i always heard he was homeless.
  11. So I came across some 99Cent Krylon the other day at a Local Paint shop. They had about 20 discontinued krylons which looked super old. the color was Terre-Cutie anyone know about how old.
  12. Still be a stupid American and Plead da fizzziff...1,2,3,4...Fiziff Then, if your really Ballsy, repeatedly reply to any questioning with a "WHAT!!!!!!!!?"
  13. Shitty thing about paintin in the burbs or other small rural areas, is that your one of a very few amount of writers getting up. And cops are a lot easy pissed when the only piece of grafitti they see is your shit runnin in their small perfect world. So It's still the same game, They both have their advantages and disadvantages. Another bad thing paintin, is your shit will get covered quickly, where as in the city, There is just too much to do.! Get shit that is paid for by the city, like Electrical boxes tag things that lazy ass people who work for the city will try to pass off to another department to clean up.

    ICHABOD

the first piece I saw from Ich, I was generaly unimpressed then the Next day i saw a gold Tic'toc with insane faces for the fill. I have never searched so hard to see that one piece again. Utterly amazing, Too bad I saw it while I was on the freeway, and didn't have the time to admire it like it so deserved. Ichabod has the sickest can control, and what he lacks in letter innovation, he makes up for in his first class depth and fades. Wow! Thank you for inspiring us all.
  15. Well, there is a lot of gang related stuff goin on in this area. Not too long ago we were listed as the 15th most dangerous city, with Compton behind us at 16. (like two years ago) Time of the post. So yeah of course people carry guns. You have to in this city. I don't but, I stay away from the shitty areas. Unless you want your shit taken, ass beat, or even worse, shot. You got to carry a gun. What I want to know is that this city recently just praised their graffiti task force in an article as one of the top in the area. They talked about how with only 3 or so officers on the force they still make tripple the amount of arrest than other cities. Well yeah! We have a lot of people writting down here, and a lot of them are not smart about it. But by the sound of this article our officers don't know shit, and I'm happy that our dumb ass task force is out teaching other cities to be completely ignorant to what graffiti is really about. I say lets catch TagBangers... and I have heard many a cop use this term too. Even to this day, I still hear non-writters use this term.
