Got to tour a couple of these on the ground but never went up in one. Saw them fire up the engines and a large puddle in front of the aircraft got sucked up into the engine and spit out the back like it was nothing. He told me there are very few places on earth where you can land one because most airports runways aren't built thicc enough to handle over a half a million ponds landing on them when they're fully loaded.

These guys stop by for refuel sometimes. Maybe not too much now with everything going on. Had a refueler tell me they pay cash. 👀

KILZ FILLZ
If you have multiple squadrons from different parts of the country with AC on the same flight line for an event (training exercises, over night stop, on hold after emergency landing, etc) the maintainers will tag up the other sqdn jets with decals with their sqdn insignia. Say you got a VFA-151 (Navy) sqdn from CA and VMFA-211 (USMC) sqdn from AZ on the same flight line in NV (or whatever state), under the cover of darkness 115 may sneak out to the line and stick decals with their insignia on the 211 jets. The goal is to put them in either a place that will go unnoticed for as long as possible (ladder well) OR a place that will be a real pain in the ass to peel the decal off (behind hydraulic lines in the wheel well). We see them in all sorts of spots when we get the AC here and I always get a kick out of it. looks like that’s what’s going on with the stickers to the right and they capped the other sqdn lol @Mercer
Mercer
God damn vandals. I like the “never forget” Harambee joke though, gotta remember what you’re fighting for.

Probably a model because her cover doesn't seem to fit correctly. 1
