!@#$% Posted July 2, 2012 Share Posted July 2, 2012 Well, George Lucas wrote the screenplays himself, and he had a pretty decent collection of actors, he just didn't direct their performances into anything special. yeah, i just forgot about him doing the screenplay. jake lloyd played the young anakin, one of the most insipid child actors i've ever seen. hayden christiansen did the next ones. these guys haven't gone on to do anything of note. bc they are shitty actors, imo. so yeah, the director blew chunks but some of these actors also sucked ass i seem to remember ewan mcgregor, a fantastic actor, delivering the only good performance. holy fuck that was weird. as i was typing out this post, jeopardy had a question about who jake lloyd and hayden played. anyway. it definitely was almost entirely lucas' fault. but i still think the people around him did nothing to help.
