MARKER SUPERDUPERTHREAD

FROSTY

Recommended Posts

Well here it is, the review of the On The Run .006 Circle Tip marker.

This marker has a few flaws, but it is made by Otr afterall. The marker is not a pump marker like expected, it is a tampon marker like a Pilot. The marker is basically a pilot, with a tub slipped over the nib and a piece of cloth put over it. The ink is the Otr permanent ink, like their Pilot rip-off marker.

Now, the marker itself isn't all that bad. It's different from others, kind of like a bingo dabber wthout drips. It's actually kind of fun to use. But the lines it gives are somewhat streaky. It's almost like, when you move fast it streaks more, as you can see in the pic. Here's an S.

Here's a better pic, you can see more of the streaks up close.

I would give this marker a 6/10. I'm sure with better ink, it wouldn't be as streaky so the marker may be perfect then. But I'll have to see when I refill it. All in all, it's not bad for $6, one of the better things to come from Otr, but still needs some work.

there like most streakers, but suck way more ass. i would sell it to someone not aware, then take that money and buy a sakura.

Or instead of a sakura buy some Markals!

Markals are the best, cheap, easy to conceal and write the best out of all the streaks I've used.

The only bad thing about them is having to scrape off the top layer overy once ina while as well as some of it rubbing off in your pocket and onto your clothes.

If markals came in the same container Sakura did that would be so sweet.

I think there just harder than most streaks which would be nice in my opinion.

And anyways OTR=shit always.

except for the magazines they have.

On the runs are marketed to the 13 year olds who watch bomb the system on HBO and decide that their going to do some graff and dance.

Then they find bombing science and they steal their grandmas credit card to buy every single on the run they can possibly get every size, in every color.

Now if we had told you what to do with that pen

and the steps you need to take to get this point

you wouldn't have figured it out on your own.

Do you know how many kids I personally discourage

(with any luck) into just giving up? You didn't, and

you tried it out on your own. I'm pretty sure you

are one of the first kids I have seen in a while that

got frustrated, didn't quit and "did it on your own."

I totally respect that, especially in the "easy to find

out all the info from someone else internerd world."

Good work!

You should post some flicks.

I wish more people would TRY SHIT OUT before

asking for help first. Again good work.

People... These questions about over the counter

markers are boring. Don't by the european toy shit.

Got to first 3 pages of this thread and you will find

some really great, and fairly easy, designs for making

your own marker/mop. That fucking MTN/OTR/TOY

markers are copies of homemade, and modified

consumer products. They took our ideas from the

past and reproduce them for a huge mark up.

Make it yourself, and you will have a better feeling.

This whole thing isn't a fashion show. Get dirty and

make your shit work for you. Don't pay some business

man that makes a "super fresh" marker, that you can

get at the grocery store, and then he puts water based

paint in it for you. He doesn't deserve your money, and

if he DOES deserve your dollar... Then that's on you.

There are plenty of Local AMERICAN cats that work really

hard to hand pick/make great markers and mops for

you. Buy those if you are lazy or prefer not to make your

own. Check around on the thread... You will find lots of

options. I suggest...

http://WWW.NYCMOP.COM

It's the best marker that you will ever possess.

Good luck.

EDIT: Like I said before, this isn't a fashion show.

If you go to nycmop.com and notice that the website

looks like a scam or just not that good of site, I assure

you that the man is making a quality product.

A classic quality product.

^^The NYCmop is a squeezable roll on

deodorant body. It was the classic container

BITD. Like I said, don't be fooled by the

cheesy website. Dude doesn't make websites.

He's just a NY writer who decided to make the

perfect marker in mass quantities.

asdf_va! speaks the truth.

but i dont like deo/nyc, cuz theres not that many places you can bust with anything bigger than a kiwi in good spots without going over some major heads in the city. if i want one, i have 3 empty rollons with me at the moment. ill consider it if i can get one to function with paint.

and cant you make them squeezeable by leaving paint thinner in them?
