This summer has been hot, hot hot! Been out benching many states & train lines this summer, If you want to catch the Gems you have to get out and bench many differnrnt places & lines... Sometimes driving hundreds of miles to see a place never benched before... Here's a small sampling of what I caught so far... enjoy! We just did a coast to coast, and back, trip on Amtrak and were right by that Galesburg yard but unfortunately Amtrak does not roll through it. We had bnsf workers deadheading back to their hometowns with us and they were saying that yard has serious action.
