Ink Blots/Splats

Hey.

I've got a peice I'm working on right now on a concrete wall using Black and White. In my concept I have ink splats. My peice is not the saem without them so I need a method for making the ink texture. The size is about 3 ft high and 5 feet wide and the ink spots(8 of them) are around a few inches to half a foot.

How can I go about doing this?

I even made a photoshop of how I want it to look(since I have no camera).

I'm not using any custom caps. The baby smashing "ink" method would be the wrong color. The balloon method would work except I want the splats only in the corners not all over without control.

You think I could duct tape the parts I want clean and balloon em?

spray the paint into the can top

when you've got enough liquid in there, splatter as desired.

or, hold the cap real close to the wall, point in the direction you want the splat to go, and spray using stupid gentle pressure.

practice.

you CAN get that splatter effect by using a minimum of pressure

the paint will sort of spit and sputter out.

without any special cap.

that's cheating.........no you can't

And besides, imagine the satisfaction you'lll get from endless practice and you're able to paint crisp lines without resorting to bullshit shortcuts.

NIGGA YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT THEM SPLAT CAPS???

Oh shit HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

Have you ever thought about using your head? Why don't you douse a tennis ball with spray paint then slam it against the wall?

Trial and error, folks. If not, then use your God damn imagination.
