I figured it may be helpful for anyone thinking of getting a new sound card. I just bought the Sound Blaster X-Fi sound card and it is fucking amazing. I did not like the $130 price tag, but I am damn happy with this card. The sound is so clear and it's almost like it has a new dimension to it. I had read other reviews on this card and people complaining that it took forever to install the drivers and that it would not work if they had a previous sound blaster card.
