lord_casek
So I guess I should just throw my mobo in the trash? no, not necessarily. did you buy it from a store? did you smell a burning plastic type smell when you plugged it in?
Guest R@ndomH3ro
Nope, see thats why I dont think its fried...I didnt see any smoke and there are no burn marks on the board. Plus I cant take it back to the store, this mobo is from an old computer I was fixing up for the ghostie team

Plus I cant take it back to the store, this mobo is from an old computer I was fixing up for the ghostie team there wouldn't necessarily be burn or scorch marks. it would smell, though. i fried a few things over the years. it stinks. sometimes burns. sometimes not. seffiks could be right, it could be done for, but most mobo's have failsafes so they won't short. atleast, the past several i've bought have. look over those schematics. you know what i was speaking of about the labels on the black plastic over the small wires? the wires are coded pos/neg too. damn, i wish i could just drive to your casa and show you. and then hit your wifey up for a free tux tat. Guest R@ndomH3ro
See there wasnt any smell either damnit dude, now I got to come out of my pocket for a new mobo and processer. the wires are just color coded not labeled

I'm feeling way too lazy to google atm. followed these steps and it works fine, for future reference: RealVNC not working with Vista by ahmerr - 3/26/07 7:10 AM In reply to: VNC connection reset by Peer 10054 by johnkbraun Hi Guys, I have managed to get RealVNC working with Vista 32 bit. The way to do it is to: Start RealVNC installation Click Next Accept Terms and Agreements and click Next Click Next on Destination for Installation Click Next on Select Components Click Next on Select Start Menu Folder Untick Register and configure VNC Server for Service-mode Untick Start the VNC Server in Service-mode Click Next Click Install Click Next once install is complete Click Finish Click on Start > Programs > RealVNC > VNC Server 4 (User-mode) > Run VNC Server You will then notice the VNC server icon will appear next to your clock in the system tray and it will state waiting for connections. Thats it, all done. Good Luck. http://forums.cnet.com/5208-12546_102-0.html?forumID=133&threadID=188808&messageID=2441646#2441646

Saul Rosenberg
Anyone know how I can get my Zune to operate on OSX? I switched over to mac from pc a few months ago and I'm still trying to get used to this shit. Something that is annoying as fuck is that a lot of programs don't have backgrounds in OSX, like I can see everything behind the open prog. That shit is so distracting especially in Adobe progs. Anyone know if its possible to change that?
