Rome ACR

That Coad was done before his ACR days down Sundance - aka the Ravenscourt plot - which now has a batch of new houses over the top of it. That was the first place I met Coad, back then he was in a crew called The Fraud Squad which was him and Rome - circa 1986. he still has the outline for that piece.

The first time I went down to that plot there was a battle piece - Earl from Wembley vs Mean...of which I have flics.

The Rome was next to a Coad piece down Poplar Grove in Wembley, a popular but now dead piecing plot with the Big Met boys...which resulted in both pieces getting lined by Sir Beau (it's believed) because they weren't from that manor. The piece underneath was the Soul piece by Kis42 and Dsire which appears in London's Burning, you can still see a hint of the hi-top on the character poking out under the mass of tags with a Dsire tag on the top of it.

here's some Poplar pieces from back then, courtesy of those awfully nice Digital Jungle people:

Is that enough light?

Silly fact no 000000.1. Popz took on the 100 after painting 100 trains and the old br blue engines that used to pull the carriages were a favourite of his.........

Cane out of NonStop... I noticed one of my old buddy's hits on there, just above the van in the silver Pilot...Shade2 aka the original Fume, not to be confused with Shades of Camden fame.

SEVENTIES MAGIC (SMC) Were more or less a one man outfit which was CONDEM'S crew started in 1991 after the demise of another south East london crew ( Artistic vandalz - AVZ ) Condem continued to put his own crew up until he sadly died in 1995 in a train accident. Condem would be pleased if he was alive today to be remembered and would more than likely still be bombing to this day. He also started writing kodaz & Syren just before his death which he had started to get up in various spots accross south london and beyond .

Current SMC Members in 2003 are as Follows Choke, Cone And Regret who have at different times been members of different crews over the years.

The reason for them putting up the crew is Because the London scene crew member wise seems to be made up of egotistical pr*cks who say if you are not putting up this crew or that crew you are out of the crew. The view that is taken is one of the old skool crews where you are friends firstly and graff writers secondly Smc will not be a expanding crew the three current members will be smc for the rest of their writing careers. If only more crews took this attitude !

Pics to follow soon.
