zen
depends on wether you think your sketches are individual pieces of art or are they a blue print for painting alone. im a little more of the first than the second. all i do is sketch in school. SEone
It all depends on what sketch I'm doing (simple style, arrows, etc) I sometimes sketch on a napkin while I'm waiting for my chinese food...5-10 minutes
ODW
it all depends. i spent like an hour and a half last night just sitting and working on a character. i usually send a few hours drawing peices. i make sure that they are as perfect as can be. i think that if you have the time, such as drawing or painting in a chill spot, then you should make sure that everything is perfect rather than just being lazy about it. Abracadabra
if a sketch takes me longer than 5-10 minutes, i'm losing my touch
