  1. Shit is getting out of hand. I blame social media, Instagram really. For breeding a wave of toy benchers, and toy writers thinking the new cool thing in graffiti is to hop straight tl the freight scene because its "trending" on ig. I live in a city in the midwest where painting streets happens regularly but theres quite a bit of toys that go to a few freight spots and Ive had to have words with them many times about them painting wack shit on good cars, parking in bad spots, leaving cans and caps in the yard. One guy was so butthurt having something said to him he literally went back and littered the layup with hundreds of scraps just to piss us off... The ignorance and sudden boosted ego thanks to instagram follows and likes amongst toys is at an all time high. Especially in the Midwest. Smh
  2. The term "benching" originated from the 70s and 80s in new york city when writers would go to the subway station platforms and sit down on the benches and watch the subway cars pull in.
  3. you must live under a fucking rock
  4. Trumps inauguration amd then the womens march on Saturday. Bens Chili Bowl had me on the toilet 4 times this morning.
  5. Just spent the weekend in d.c marching and protesting, rode the metro alot. Shouts out to n4n cats they have the redlock on lock. And the Sean Taylor tribute at the brookland station was mad dope.
  6. Jesus...cant believe this car is still rolling. Do you have shots of the rest of it
  7. Shut the fuck up man you've been talking shit on 12oz for damn near a whole decade. Funny nobody outside Detroit knows who wah crew is while dfw goes nation wide. Jasp mother fucking one...the man that will never leave his city and amount to anything. Stfu.
  8. Dude you seriously need to work on taking better flicks...I rather see nothing at all than blurry cars and shots through fences like that. If its not a straight on quality shot just dont even post. Bumming me out when I see theres an update I click on it, and i get this stuff. Come on man.
  9. That was me that messaged you, because I was curious to who you know and was refering to as this crew leader you know down there in a another thread. I was tryna link you up with somebody solid because I know the guys down there. And also, there's no "vandal squad" in _______. Rip the homie 2buck.
  10. Should go grab a can of black and white and go fix it.
  11. Cross Justice by James Patterson. The 23rd book in the Alex Cross series. Alex Cross is a black detective from Washington DC that hunts down the most ruthless serial killers. Started the series in june, in 4 months Im on the 23rd book. Highly addicting.
  12. Damn spit strikes again...I wonder if this is an actual writer being a dick...or a woker who has seen beatstreet
  13. The pieces are not so great, but I flicked this because the Harambe character. RIP cool to see people showing love for the gorilla killed in my city.
  14. To be 100% honest with you, you're not in any shape or form ready to start painting trains. You're going to have alot of writers not even acknowledging your work and quite a few or going to be bummed you even painted the train especially depending on the kind of car. Read the sticky threads on here first, titled yard safety and keeping spots chill. You need to practice a hell of alot more. Trains are not little chill spots where you can just go and do whatever. If you want to make a name for your self and be respected as a writer, now is not the time for you to just go and hop on a freight because it seems like its the next cool thing. Even after years of bombing and painting walls, my first 10 freights I done I highly regret and hope the have been gone over already. You will know when and feel comfortable to do freights when the time comes. Your style and can control are not on that level yet. And if you go and ask this crew leader you speak of to go to the yard he is going to tell you something similar to what Im telling you and bottom line the answer is No, do not go and try to paint freights. And when the time comes that your pieces are looking dope and you want to do your first freight have a writer bring you, show you the ropes, and best ways in and out of the spot without being seen. Best of luck to ya, and just practice, practice, practice judging by your work you might be ready to do a freight in another 2 years. Dont take offense Im just being real with ya.
  15. One of my all time favorites on the rails. I was just listening to a podcast on legendsthursday from coupe interviewing a homie of mine and I was thinking fuck...coupe really needs to get mber on here.
