  1. I just asked a friend of mine who is a firefighter about this and he said that this is the first he has ever heard of something like that. I am not in Oregon though he does respond to fires in Oregon during the summer season if they are big enough. As far as this happening in Oregon. http://www.oregon.gov/ODF/AGENCY_AFFAIRS/firefightingcrewlanguagerequirements.shtml So it looks like that article is fairly inaccurate Casek, I wonder if they printed a retraction of the article? Somehow I doubt it, but this article obviously does increase anti-Hispanic sentiment across the country, and further the Neo-conservative agenda.
  2. This is exactly what certain groups have wanted for a while. Look at the animal enterprise terrorism act This bill runs along similar lines. Freedom of speech is being eliminated in this country at an alarming rate and no one seems to notice or care. The pentagon actually considers the internet to be a threat to America since it allows for the free exchange of ideas. These ideas threaten corporate profits, and allow people the freedom to act without restriction in a non governmental controlled environment. So this bill is no big surprise, of course look at all the bills that got passed in the Clinton era and you will see who really had a hand at destroying our freedom of speech on the internet. *The Cult Of Skaro*
  3. Man you are getting schooled by shai right now. You might as well just quit trying to argue with him since all it does is make you look more foolish. I really think that there should be an test that measures peoples intelligence before they are allowed to access the internet. Just a puzzle they have to solve or a few random questions they need to get right. If they can't solve the puzzle or answer the few questions properly they are not allowed to connect to the internet. It would really stop people like this from posting.
  4. http://flexyourrights.org/ Check this site out. Lots of great information for all your needs. *The Cult Of Skaro*
  5. What graffiti is, is up to the individual to decide. Both the person who is doing graffiti and the person viewing it can and usually do have separate ideas about what exactly it is, be it art or vandalism. Also UA is a well established graffiti crew, so you might want to do some research before you start your internet graffNdance crew on 12ozprophet, Actually you might want to check this site out. like minded idiots
  6. Posting peoples real info on the internet makes someone a snitch, So regardless of who snitched on who it doesn't need to be on here. If you are from a city and do have paperwork proving someone snitched on you, show it to your boys, don't post it on the fucking internet and snitch the person out in response. If you are unable to handle your beef I advise you just ignore it and forget about it; otherwise get you a couple of baseball bats and go beat the shit out of the person who snitched you out. Of course you might get charged with intimidation on a witness, or assaulting a witness, but that's on you. As to threads getting deleted when shit like this happens. The mods delete the threads because some of you don't know how to use the internet or read the rules of 12oz and want to go ahead and keep snitching people out. This usually leads to people dropping other peoples names and threads getting ruined, so if you want your thread back my advice is to go break the fingers of who ever is posting peoples info, take pictures and send them to the mods informing them that for the next few months the thread is safe from people who are going to snitch people out and drop peoples information and ask them nicely if they would please undelete it or allow a new one to happen since you dealt with the problem in such a way as to prevent said people from snitching in the future, *The Cult Of Skaro*

  8. The patriot act is due to expire, and I doubt that it will be renewed.
  9. The real question of this decision is not whether or not the police will use this decision over and over again. (which no doubt they will) But under what circumstances the police are allowed to question you without your lawyer present even after requesting your lawyer. For example in this decision the suspect had already agreed to questioning without his lawyer present. Does this decision also allow for the police to question you if you have asked for your lawyer from the very beginning of questioning? I would think that an excellent argument could be made that it does not. The supreme court has routinely sided with the police when it comes to issues where people by agreeing to contact with the police waive their rights, such as a consensual stop where the person being stopped later claims they were to intimidated by the presence of the police to leave. Or someone who agrees to make a statement to the police and waives their right to legal counsel but then later acquires legal counsel and asks for their statement to be tossed out on the basis of they lacked legal representation. Any public defender should be able to make this argument, and it is hard to see the supreme court reversing years of precedent and allowing the executive branch such broad powers.
  10. Casek we find this to be an interesting decision on that will be revisited in the near future since they do not make clear the instances in which police may initiate questioning and the instances in which they can not. It also does not make clear the amount of times they may attempt to question you without your lawyer before it crosses the line into intimidation, and other obviously illegal circumstances. We find that this overall is a horrible decision and that this should be reversed to prevent the growing power of the police state that exists. Maybe if legal education were part of our education in high school we would not have such problems. * The Cult Of Skaro *
  11. We doubted the truth of this report at first, but after examining and researching further it would appear that red bull cola does contain trace amounts of cocaine. Of course their was a similar report about the air quality in Barcelona containing trace amounts of drugs as well. http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2009-05-14-spain-airborne-drugs_N.htm We have to question the truth of this report though, since cocaine requires a process to create. Is red bull actually processing Coca leaves and then adding cocaine to the mixture, or is their a trace amount of coca alkaloid from using Coca leaves in the process of making the drink? Coca leaves are commonly used across the Andean region where the worlds cocaine supply comes from, as they allow more oxygen to be absorbed by the blood and lungs in higher climates, allowing people to live in those areas. So why exactly is some person in germany freaking out over trace amounts of cocaine from Coca leaves, when massive amounts of cocaine are being imported from Africa. Why is he not trying to ban all Africans from germany to prevent the spread of cocaine in his country. * The Cult Of Skaro *
  12. You might want to hire someone to do your dirty work for you. I have serious doubts about your ability to intimidate, and beat down the person who stole from you. I would also advise that you not tell the internet your business, you know the internet isn't very anonymous; their are a few members on here who could find out lots of your personal information with not that much trouble. Just consider that this board is monitored by law enforcement, and now they know you do graffiti and sell drugs. Well if members could find out your information then they might be able to as well, and making statements to the effect of 'HI I'M A DRUG DEALER' might not be the smartest thing to do. Actually I advise you give up the whole drug dealing thing, I would suggest a career change to fast food, or maybe just admitting your epic failure at life and committing suicide. *The Cult Of Skaro*
