  1. I've only seen random episodes of it until now, always been kinda irritated that I never knew the sequence of events, so I've been downloading and watching all the seasons. On Season 3, episode 8 right now. And I scrolled down all the way as to not ruin any future seasons I haven't seen yet. :D

  2. I've heard of people using it to get off dope. Never had enough willpower to try it when Suboxone is easier to get. Interested to see the final results though...

  3. Does anyone else have the issue of seeing the world as total shit when sober?

Yes. I've been mostly sober lately and I've spent a lot of time in bed. Dragging my ass to work is hard as hell... I know exactly how you feel.

  4. Had to catch up on the past few pages since I haven't checked this thread for a minute.

Bump... SWERV, LIVE, OMENS, STRAP, WOTS, the abandoned tannery on Water by the Holton bridge that is no longer there, BNASTY, NMPH, PAPER...

NOT bump... all the fuckin' self promo on here, all the E-thuggery in this thread, and the word "nigka"... lmfao.

  5. I guess that's the one nice thing about being a junkie vs. an alcoholic, is it's not socially acceptable so it's not like you'll just go to a house party and all of a sudden everybody whips out their heroin. But that has to make it even more of a bitch.

  6. Also trying to kick a dope habit. Swords checking himself out of that place is not an excuse at all, a place reminiscent of jail is NOT somewhere you wanna be when you're dope sick. Good luck to everyone in this thread.

  7. Props to Dirty_habiT for whipping that tight IS300. Love 2J's. Also, props to sarcasm on the clean S2000. As well as shameless with the Z cars. I have a friend into those, he's had a ridiculous amount of Z31s, S13s, S14s, 280z, etc. Props to Theo on the G35, and the guy with the MK5 GTI.

Right now I'm whipping a '92 Civic LX sedan. I obtained it from the previous owner for free (kind of). It had been parked on the street and sideswiped by a tow truck. That sounds bad, but the quarter and rear driver's door got crinkled, not much more than that. I was able to pound the quarter out, and straighten up the door. I'm going to put a new door on it when I find the right color one at the junkyard.

Anyways, the previous owner had purchased a 2nd gen non-turbo Eclipse, against my advice. It needed a clutch when he bought it, so I put the clutch in for him; I had originally told him $300 to do the clutch. He asked if I wanted the Civic instead. I agreed.

It needed suspension work when I got it- the control arm bushings were shot on both sides, as well as all 4 ball joints in the front. The trailing arm was bent from the accident with the tow truck. I had a trailing arm, and the upper control arms with ball joints in my garage already. Only thing I had to buy for it were the control arm bushings and lower ball joints. I got lucky and found a set of control arms at the junkyard with damn near brand-new polyurethane bushings.

This year I've only had 2 cars- a 99 Accord, and the Civic I have now. Last year I had...

'91 Integra, '94 Accord, '93 Civic hatch, '96 Integra 4door, '96 Integra 2door, '94 Civic sedan, '99 Accord, '01 Camry, '93 Chevy 1500, '78 GMC 1/2 ton, '84 Bonneville, '84 Chevy 1/2 ton 2wd, '95 Volvo 850, '94 Corolla, and I'm pretty sure that's it. The car I paid the most for was the 4 door Integra. Had 110k on it, no rust, leather, power w/moonroof, would have kept it longer if it wasn't automatic. Paid $1300, got it with a blown brake line. Bent that fucker up, vice gripped it closed, drove it home. Fixed the brake line and popped it off on Craigslist the next day, or day after. I forget.

The cheapest one was the Corolla. Picked it up for $150, also had a blown brake line and blown back struts. I slacked on the whip game this summer. Next summer though if I can keep the ball rolling, I'll go through a bunch more cars.

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in, my Civic isn't worth taking a picture of, lol. Keep the cars and stories coming everyone.

  8. They feel the need to constantly change it, in order to keep people interested. They design it to be addictive so you come back, and they can't have people getting boring of it... that's bad for business.

Aside from that, I deleted my Facebook about a month and a half ago and switched to Google+. I'm a lot happier without having to read through all of the crap on FB from people I don't give a shit about. /notmad

  9. I feel for y'all that gotta watch what you eat and constantly exercise in order to stay not fat. I never exercise aside from painting and working on cars, eat whatever I want, and still stay the same size. Been that way all my life, I'm 25 now... I know it won't last forever, but I'll enjoy it while it does.

Now I'm gonna go smoke a cigarette. :]

  10. I've watched this show a couple times, it's pretty entertaining. Granted I think it is bullshit how they set people up, but come on man, you're really gonna take a car that's sitting there running/with the keys in it? If you need the keys to steal a car, you fail as a car thief. Any idiot can take a car that has the keys already in it.

Anyways, I liked the episode where they were in New Orleans, a guy steals an Escalade, drives it around the block, cops lose their visual on it... ends up parking it an alley, kicking the window out, throwing the keys, then getting out of there back on to the street where the cops got him and he snitched on himself. I know they have cameras in the cars, but if the cops don't see you leaving the car, why the hell would you admit to taking it?

There was also another episode where I believe they also used the Escalade, a guy moved it because it was blocking his/his guy's driveway, had no plans of stealing it. Cops questioned him and tried to get him to admit to stealing it, but he didn't get arrested.
