Fiddly - the throw is hurting the letters aren't even in a similar style to each other, just work on simples, as for the other drawings they literally look like a infants doddles, my son is 5 and draws stuff like that, I'm not saying don't draw what you like, I'm saying don't post it.

the S and the A are ok the P and the H are not so good, they lack any kinda of similarity in style traits to the other 2 letters, the H literally looks like an after thought personally I would say do staright letter simples, that is like a throw style but done as a simple to me

Virtue - on the 3D you have it going off to too many points, see ho on the k you have the 3D going directly off to the right however from the other letters it goes up and slightly to the right. either do it how bumpin showed or look at the sketch I sent you and do it going that way, I would say if you are just starting out choose one way of doing the 3D either drop it straight down or to one particular point.

I like those, got a nice abstract feel to them, do you ever check the abstracts thread in the untitled section?

Virtue, on the Hale, space the letters out more and don't have them interacting so much, it just looks to crushed up and confused, although I have seen that style pulled off quite nicely in the 90s. Awso, just leave any crazy letter development out of your pieces while you focus on simple letter structure You will get 100% more respect from writers for being able to rock a solid simple over a half assed piece, this will never change, you need to actually learn the rules of graf and master them before you can start breaking them

you are trying to argue with one of the most consistent people in this thread, that hype piece was wack full stop, nothing in it is worth even commenting on, only thing I will say is your can control seems ok, but can control without letter structure doesn't mean shit.

I have said it before and will say it again, after having awful letter proportions the most toyest thing you can do is have an attitude that you think you stuff is great. No ones stuff in here is great, most of it isn't even good, people try to run before they can walk, I have as much pride for my simples as I do for my more complex work, and if you don't keep going back to simples you will fail at progressing in your graf. This is why the people who have managed to get out of this thread and actually get props in the sketch thread are the ones that have their simples down nice and solid, and there are not many of us that have made the jump to the sketch thread.

I would really wanna get on this painted battle, only problem is it is fucking hard for me to get any time to paint, there are no chill walls near me that I could use so would have to catch a train to some skatepark in nearby cities to try and paint, not to mention I can't get any paint at the moment cos have mad bills to pay, but there are plenty of people on here that I would like to see get on this battle.
