The stage of the tour today was a bit nuts as well, I would not have wanted to be riding those pave sections, I am quite surprised the tour organisers put those sections in they knew it would be choas, Those sections were also really narrow, after the last few days I would expect the mountains to be a relief.

Jesus, I just watched the highlights on Eurosport, the end of that stage was crazy, I dunno it seemed to me that the last few kilometres the course seemed really narrow, it just looked as though it would be impossible to lead out your sprinters in those conditions, but the number of crashes was crazy.

thanks Kmart, I was checking out those Focus bikes as well, my knowledge of cycling components is so dated I need to spend some time reading up on the stuff.

damn I hate when the tour starts because it makes me want to ride and I have no bike at the moment, might use my works bike to work scheme to get a loan for a bike, but then I am really limited to bikes so would probably have to get a Boardman bike was thinking of this one, seems a good starter set up http://www.boardmanbikes.com/road/road_comp.html

I would almost go with some sports team colours on that, make it look kinda clean on the fill no fuss and nice contrast between the letters and 3D

I vote skum for wrath and knuckleduster, thanks for all the comments guys, I had to split the word I just couldn't fit more than 7 letters in a line on a4 paper. Good battle skum, always nice battling someone you get on well with - props for fitting it on one page I would have needed about a metre of paper for that haha

wraith? you been watching to much stargate mate haha i reckon you should work on those 3D styles, you have a good understanding of them try to elaborate on them more

but it still looks like crap, surely you look at graf other than stuff you draw yourself, so it should be very clear you're heading in completely the wrong direction

mate those are both awful, work on simples and stop colouring stuff until you can get your letters looking decent

ah it is a forum glitch where a picture gets attached to your post that you didn't post also Eido, do what Skum says with the white outline, or double out the thickness of the outline for more definition
