  1. bro quit playing, if it wasn't for Thailand you'd still be carrying your v card.
  2. This thread makes me want to have a fucking barbeque
  3. Na, you click on the 2006 winners gallery. Or go here http://www.worldpressphoto.nl/index.php?option=com_photogallery&task=blogsection&id=16&Itemid=137&bandwidth=high
  4. you are incorrect, they are from 2006. Thus you suck alittle extra for getting it wrong. ....kidding ofcourse.
  5. You all suck for sleeping on this thread. (the thriteen or so people who posted excluded ofcourse)
  6. No problem, Watching the expression of the people standing around the gang series was a highlight. It was interesting to watch how those photo's affected people.
  7. So I walk into my local library and they had some of these on display. The ones I looked at were amazing, high quality photography in intense situations. http://www.worldpressphoto.nl/ I'd like to post some but can't figure out how. Also this is here because Untiltled bores me. Discuss.
  8. Indeed it can. But I still don't find it funny.
  9. Yeah, nice retort. Being an old loser has withered your intellect.
  10. Dignity? Right. Go get beat up over pizza some more you haggard old freak. :)
  11. ^ ha! I thought beer was good. Either that or Lil bow wow.
  12. Yeah it sounds like a hectic job. Also the hierarhcy in kitchens is meant to be pretty full on. When you get your entry level position expect to be blatantly treated like shit. Just make an independant and less gay verison of Jamie Oliver. Kind of like Wayne's world but with cooking.
  13. Thats you in a few years Lens.
  14. Re: You know when you get into a fight and later remember things you should have said
  15. Hey, reckon I can get a copy of that PM? I'm heading over in August. And Dazzle. I'm sorting out my travel plans this month (finnally). Pm your dates and we will get rad somewhere somehow.
  16. hitting someone with a backpack? you got to be fucking kidding me.
  17. I don't attend college, I go to university. And I'm pretty much done with that. I spend most of my time racking up cash, partying and painting. and now onto other matters, from what I gather your teachers do sound like retards but those particular retards it seems have chosen to be cunts to you for good reason. You come off like a pretentious faggot. And it is at this point that we shall part ways. Goodbye.
  18. Re: You know when you get into a fight and later remember things you should have said Whatever dude, I don't even know why you're at that school if it's so fucked up. You sound full of teenaged angst.
  19. Also maybe your shit is terrible? I honestly wouldn't have a clue. So some advice could be good anyway. At any rate it will give you a better understanding of what they are after. Just try not to get brainwashed into doing the shit everyone else does by the end of it.
  20. Yeah, I was quite pleased. I still see that lecturer around to. She comes off as a nice person, and there's whisps of sexual tension. Which never hurts. As far as your problem goes. I'm sad to say that social skills often count for as much as actual skill in these kinds of situations (people are idiots). My advice is to go back to your director and ask for advice on how you can make your work better. Ask non confrontation questions and take notes. She'll like you better. Then maybe see about getting more time to get your shit redone later in the week.
  21. Re: You know when you get into a fight and later remember things you should have said Seriously I once had a uni assignment I needed* a second extension on (this just isn't meant to happen). I was sitting in an outdoors area before class thinking about the best way to deal with the situation. A friend walks up with a flower in her hair, gives it to me. I walk into a lecture and give it to my lecturer (she's in her 30's and pretty goodlooking). She laughs and says "teachers pet". I say "well no, I'm just buttering you up for another extension". She says "hows a week?".
  22. err fair enough dude. Maybe you'll start looking at it differently over time. From personal experience it just seems the majority of writers who go to do a canvas just do a small piece on them. I've seen enough of these now to find them boring. So I would never do one. Also I've come to realise I'm not just a graff writer. I'm a creative person. I like alot of creative shit and alot of it goes beyond graffiti. I.e. it has some kind of thought behind it or whatever. I see painting canvasses as a chance to refine this stuff. I used to think about it very differently, infact if you had talked to me 4 years ago I would of called you a toy for not doing sharp clean lines. Part of growing up I guess.
  23. ^ agreed, I've seen some works that have interesting composition but aside from that, if there's one thing that I've personally seen enough of, it's little pieces on canvass.
  24. So after begining to care less about graffiti purism I've started working on canvass. I'm finding it much more free but also more challenging. I've found myself struggling with the new capacity to have texture, symbolism and a more thought basedl approach to the whole thing. By the last two I mean, rather than just doing a piece for a pieces sake, I've found myself doing figures that have some kind of symbolic meaning, then I'm left to think about things like "what the fuck kind of colour scheme goes with that?". It's an interesting stuggle I'm still trying to get my head around. So have many of you people made this transition? How did you find it? What helped you with it? What made you do it? Discuss.
  25. I think this thread is interesting. But I still think LENS is a pitiful excuse for a person. I just thought I'd express that.
