  1. Says who? You? Corruption is the system we live under, you can not simply dismiss this and say it "won't work" because of the situation we are in now, we did not follow a free market to get into this mess, you don't understand this, you think we are already in a free market, and you think this is the reason for our economic turmoil. You are wrong. Please explain the realities of today's global markets, drop some knowledge bro don't just make blanket statements and move forward as if they are fact. Or as if you have any idea as to what you are claiming.
  2. What? Who even said this? It is ultimately up to yourself to get educated and get out in society to be productive, you determine your own self worth. If you do nothing to raise the value of your contribution to society why should you have status over someone who has? Why do you assume that in a society structured in the way that I see it should be structured you assume a backwards transition back to the middle ages?? Or whatever time period you feel is more accurate. I see no reason for this connection. Yeah, I have multiple learning disabilities. One of them includes discussing things of this nature over the internet with you.
  3. I want to stay away from picking this game, I've been 100% accurate with my picks all playoffs and if my luck continue's I could win some decent $$$. Obviously being a Giants fan, I think we have a better team so we SHOULD win. However I do acknowledge that the Patriots are good, Tom Brady is in fact their QB and Bellichick is their Coach. They haven't won a Superbowl since Spygate and the last time they made it they lost to the Giants, so definitely some more incentive to want to win this won more then if the Pats had played SF. Should be good, I'm thinking it's going to be close, and yeah it's cliche but whoever has the ball at the end will probably win. Go GIANTS!
  4. Also to associate Libertarian philosophy with some kind of Amish lifestyle is comical. Carry on.
  5. Breaking your back? What are you talking about? Wages? All I was saying is, Libertarian philosophy acknowledges that a utopia is not obtainable. So attempting to do such with legislation, and expanding government is just not going to solve the problem at hand.
  6. No, just no. In fact if you read Libertarian philosophy you would realize the argument against this "utopia" that people like you attempt to create. There is no utopia.
  7. Ya well, Curtis Martin should have gotten in last year.
  8. You should stay on MARS bro. Don't bother dealing with us Earthlings, we ain't on your level.
  9. It's not "advantage". You come across as if this line of thought is used to take away from someone else to gain an edge, this isn't the case, it's the opposite. In fact, the line of thought that you think is correct is more on the terms you put forward.
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnTNQnAZpvU I don't understand the rules sometimes for a TD, I thought when this happened it would have been over turned because it looks as if Cruz drops the ball as soon as it hits the ground, even tho he went past the goal line with the ball. It was ruled as a TD. Calvin Johnson did something similar last year and his wasn't ruled a TD either. I think the Evans play should have at least been reviewed. It also doesn't excuse him from dropping it either.
  11. Yes, this to be is the whole point which is why I linked PCR's article, and took that specific thing out of it, he has a few critics for Paul if he'd like to appeal to a wider base and have a higher shot at being elected, but that's not what RP does. __________ "Some readers misunderstood the point of my previous column, “America’s Last Chance.” I am endorsing the U.S. Constitution and making the point that Ron Paul is the only candidate for president in either party who is committed to resurrecting the Constitution. Without the Constitution we cease to be American citizens and become subjects of a tyrannical police state. My complaint is that the only candidate who could bring back the Constitution cannot be elected because of the inflexibility and sectarianism of his base. Possibly there are more worthy third party candidates, but they have no prospect of visibility. Ron Paul is visible, and the opportunity is going to waste. I hope readers will spare me their comments about how important their various single issues are. There are many important things. The question is: what is the over-riding important thing? Civil Liberty, essentially the accountability of government to law that serves to protect the innocent, is the historic achievement of the English over many centuries from its beginnings with the foundation for common law established by Alfred the Great in the 9th century through Magna Carta in the 13th century to the Glorious Revolution in the 17th century. If this human achievement is lost, it is unlikely to be resurrected. If the Constitution that Bush and Obama have murdered stays in its grave one more presidential term, no one will be able to re-establish the Constitution’s authority. And please, no prattle from libertarians about “natural rights.” The only rights we have are rights achieved by centuries of human struggle that we have the wits and strength to retain. And no prattle from left-wingers who denounce the Constitution for not protecting slaves and native Indians. The Constitution did not establish universal justice. The Constitution protected the people covered by it. Over time rights were extended. During the past decade the Constitution lost its power. Today rights depend on the subjective opinion of the executive branch. This is tyranny. We should be unified in our opposition to tyranny." _________ But I got a better idea, let's compare this line of thought to emo indie music and pretend it's irrelevant.
  12. This thread was made for a reason, and it wasn't for discussion. I agree Soup. At least what you said in your last sentence.
  13. This is kind of long and I don't expect you to watch all of it, but it isn't necessary. This isn't the 18th century either, or any prehistoric time period where you think these philosophies only work. You'll pretty much get the message after watching 10-15 minutes. It wasn't a complete roll back in policy, but it was the opposite of what we are doing now, and well, listen.
  14. http://www.vdare.com/articles/more-on-ron-paul More in here, few critics. I just took the part I liked. 15. This guy's got bullets and that shop right smart card on his key chain, certified gangsta.
  16. Yeah, underrated. All I heard about all year was the Saints, Packers and Patriots skill players. Ya Cruz got some attention, but...he had a 1,500 yard season. You can't ignore that. As a group, they don't get the credit they deserve, but I guess that's about to change.
  17. These guys are still so young, and so underrated, I know because it's the Superbowl they'll probably be focused on more, but the whole year when I heard people talk about receiving corps and who is at the top nobody mentioned us. Kind of funny now. All young too. Can't wait to see the future for these guys.
  18. LOL REMATCH. Patriots really going to be mad after this one.
  19. If the Raven's were scoring TD's on these turnovers they'd be in business.
  20. Someone wrote "I want to own the 40/40 club" LOL!
  21. Look at the word backwards. No points for you.
