markers or pens? It takes time to learn how to use both. Prismas are good black book markers but they dont tjust make your work come out clean it takes a while to get used to them. As for ink pens mikrons are good for detail.

what kinda paint? just experiment and youll get better. the lines arent gonna be perfectly clean. But if your doing a peice you can cut the lines or overspray.
