i just remembered one at my old reform school. a buncha kids broke out of the dorms or something, they broke into the building where all the class rooms and offices were the night the night before april fools. they managed to unlock the head of academics' (who no one liked) office some how. they straight up moved all his shit down to the first level and set it up in the lobby exactly the way it was in the office, internet connection and everything, i walked in there the next morning and saw scroog just sitting there checking his email as if nothing happened. i wish i could have seen the bastards face when he first saw it though(this guy had nooo sense of humor) oh yeah, that day i went back to my dorm early, the way the rooms are built there is a little wall which is part of a closet that just clears the door, which opens inwards and have no locks(who gives dilinquints locks right). i went in to atleast 18 of the 24 rooms and stacked the dressers between the door and the wall, i escaped through the window(by year 2 had a lot of experience with that). there was nooo getting in. note also that after classes ended we had 30 min to get dressed for sports and exercise, or we got in deep shit if we were late. so classes end and no one in my dorm could get in their rooms. every single mother fucker was late and ran mad laps and did army crawls across the fields and shit. needless to say my bed ended up and the roof and everything i owned was covered in shaving cream, but that shit was worth it.

i don't like revealing to much about my self to people i don't know, but i have been without drugs and alcohol for 3 years, by the age of 18 when i stoped, i had become a junkie, i had been homeless before, pulled guns on people to get what what i thought i needed, and nobody trusted me, i was looking at death at around 20 or 21. by the end of my carrer as an addict and alcoholic, when i finally decided to get clean, i looked like bruce willis at the end of the die hard movies. for me personally getting sober was not something i wanted to do i had to do it or i was dead, i probally deserve to be. i had to get help. i did. life is butter.

i did not have a child hood really, through most of high school i was a junkie and spent most of my time robbing people, getting my ass beat, guns, jail, drugs blah blah blah, spent 3 years in jails and reform institutions, got clean quit drugs and drinking, started fighting a lot, toned down on that thanks to boxing and wrestling, quit graffiti, still in the streets 24/7 due to photography. got a diploma, started community college, dropped out, moved out, became a carpenter, got back in school. scince then though i have made up for missing out on a childhood. me and freinds stole a cow from the country and tied it to a buddies ex girl's door, it escaped from the rope we tied it too, she saw the rope and the dumb bitch thought it was a death threat, cow is probally still roaming the streets of dc. gone on an off road rampage through city parks with my dads jeep, did this multiple times, fucked up so much shit, mad football games got cancelled cause of my dumb ass, needless to say i had to buy the jeep off him that the cops were looking for. took a kids face and photo shoped it with gay porn, it got spread over half of myspace, he threatened to sue. dutch ovened a girl friend, got punched in the face flopped on bed, broke bed, i am 220 on a good day, girlfriend at the time was about 98lbs, needless to say shorty flew half way across the room, i laughed hard, got punched in the face. made mustard gas, scorched half of the lawn at my buddies house sending an enormous mushroom cloud 30 ft in the air, another friend acccidentaly inhaled some, he got sent to the hospital, his pregnant fiance showed up pissed as hell. ill post more as i think of them *edit

turnyourback i assume these where film,... you can get 3200 film at almost any photo store, good brand is Tmax3200 by kodak, this allows you to take pictures in extreamly low lit situations such as yours. i have turned many a writers on to this and many of them tell me the dont even try to use thier digital for night shots anymore. it can be a bit grainy, but i love the shit. give it a try.

that shot of the gulls was anything but easy too, i had to untie my shoe so that i could fling it at them with my foot, then run into the swarm of gulls and get shat on like crazy all before my shoe came back down into my shot...this took multiple atempts. *edit that sepia shot of the LA River is gorgous, i downloaded it a few days ago as my desktop, may possibly be asking for a print. is that digital or film? it looks like theres burning done to the sky, i assume you can do that with digital too?
