  1. that starry-eyed skull is nice.
  2. enter... thems is some nice canvases. in my opinion, the middle one looks complete (except for a small signiture tag). i like the bare quality to it, the one on top would look nice with a chill character. i'm not sure why i am giving you suggestions, you obviously have a good eye. i am curious though, is erin a friend of yours(3rd canvas)?
  3. damn that piece is sick! it just made my day. i love it when shit like that sneaks up on you, you know, when you dont expect it. nice piece and great placement.
  4. yo, you gotta be in a real bad way if you cant even afford a kiwi.
  5. i doubt it because mentioned chemicals basicly break down plastics at a molecular level creating structural weaknesses in plastics over periods of prolonged exposure such as in the case of storing the solvents in a plastic container. think of erosion, its a similar premise. i believe though that there are varying effects on different types of plastics. i am pretty sure that acetone is more aggresive, thats why the ladies with fake nails have to get there polish changed with non-acetone remover, otherwise the acetone will eat through the fake nails and jack up their real tips in the process. see, you can learn all kind of useful information when you actually listen to your girlfriend's 45 minute monologues.;) but who knows, i am no chemical engineer... do what you want, you never know.
  6. acetone degrades plastics like mad. it works much faster than xylene on that count. be careful what you put that stuff in.
  7. huh, somebody has been busy in the ink thread. so will somebody who has actually held a bottle of coreo in their hand please tell me if it is a good all purpose ink.
  8. whatever... i take AND i give. your just a lil' bitch-ass :clown2:chuckle-head:clown2: who ego trips his dick all up his own ass. hows that feel pressed up on your prostrate?
  9. damn yall are lovin' that 2-way idea. some of you kids need to go out on your own and find some other markers and bring some new shit to the table instead of just coppin' everyone elses ideas. wait what am i talking about... this is the internet.
  10. otr's are (as far as the actual marker goes) all the same, with the exception of the tagstar [which has a wider nib and unskrews in the back], and the mini's [which have a regular sized nib but a smaller ink chamber]. that being said, if your not getting the tagstar, the marker you get really depends on what ink you want. -do not get an otr paint marker, they suck. they dont write on some some surfaces and the ink flow is really bad. -otr hard to buff ink is not as permanent as you would want it to be but the ink and the marker work well together. -iv'e never used the .050 super permanent but i believe it has a chizel tip. -the flow pen isnt that permanent either but the ink is thin and drips well when you wnat it to, doesnt drip when you dont want it to.
  11. namaste' destroya. hope it mets your standards.
  12. "...Mrs. Jackson if your nasty..."
  13. target carries thems. A WORD TO THE WISE: IF YOU GET ONE, TAKE ONE OF THE VALVES OUT OF YOUR ZIG 2-WAY BROAD TIPS (if i remember a past conversation, you mentioned you had a 2-way broad tip) AND PUT IT IN THE BABY BIGGIE. THE VALVES IN THE BIGGIES SUCK FOR INK USE. THEY ALLOW TOO MUCH INK TO FLOW THROUGH AT A TIME AND YOU WILL LOSE ALOT OF YOUR INK AND PROBABLY RUIN YOUR SHOES AND PANTS IN THE PROCESS. luckily the valves are easily enterchangable. happy shoppin'.
  14. destroya... try a zig 2-way glue baby biggie. the nib is the same width as a miniwide and the ink chamber is about 1&1/2 times the length of an otr mini-flow pen's ink chamber, so its not too bulky.
  15. ^^^ whats the point in mixing fiebings with griffen? why not just pick one? they're basicly the same. anyways, i wouldnt mix anything with garvey unless you want to juice up the color or give it some staining power to non-metals but pilot is not really gonna help with the staining so just add some garvey to the red base until you get a suitible shade.
  16. did you have any luck on that dremel trick, chumb?
  17. scroll through this thread and you'll find the answer your looking for.
  18. R.I.P. MARKER MOD. THREAD
  19. chumba already did the high and dry mop.
  20. ^:clown2:CHUCKLE-HEAD:clown2:^ "make your own marker" is a silly figure of speech when the best alternative to a M44 is purchasing a pilot super-color.
  21. mops get made at home not markers. ...fool. compared to OTR, pilot, uni, and zig; you arent gonna be making any quality markes at home.
  22. i'm saying though, thats how shitty the yard has been recently! its forcing me to the all time low of e-diagrams! whenever i get around to using my boys digital cam i can post the real deal. sorry for the wack ass diagrams but... its still better than 80% of the posts that have gone up in the past couple of weeks. its all been stupid questions or lame coments and almost no info. at least its a modification nobody else has posted, yall know what i'm speaking of... new material. its what keeps things fresh (even if the visual aid isnt). the yard is turning into a vulture pit. kids dont have anything useful to add to it, there are too many scavangers and not enough providers.
  23. okay , my boy still hasent come through on his digital camera but i promised yall i would give up a modification for OTR type valves that drip hard. that and the fact that the yard has been sucking fat cock recently has forced me to drastic measures... an e-diagram. so lets say figure 1 is the silouette of an otr valve. FIGURE 1: ...___n___ ...l..........l .........../ ......__/ ........u seperate the lid: ___n___ ,from the base using your finger nail. sometimes it can be difficult but once you do, the spring loaded plug will pop off with the lid. lets pretend that figure 2 is the valve plug once it is free of the valve casing. FIGURE 2: ....n ...-ll- ....ll ....u put the valve plug in a set of vice grips facing up. use a fine precision file to file two thin notches into the n part of the valve plug diagram ( in other words the part of the plug that was exposed before you took apart the valve). but only file about 2/3rds of the way down. once you've put your valve back together the silouette should be similar to figure 3. FIGURE 3: ...___u___ ...l..........l .........../ ......__/ ........u the notches allow more ink to rush into the nib housing when you mash the nib down. just make sure you file far enough down to where the notches dip past the lid of the valve when the spring is cocked back but not so far down that the valve plug will leak when your not alpplying preasure to the nib. about 2/3rds of the way down the top n part of the valve plug should do it.
  24. ^^^ahh, son.... better you stop asking questions before you hurt yourself. try reading through some threads until you know what your talking about.
  25. xylene isnt battery acid, my folker. it doesnt burn through shit. what it can do is slowly degrade the structure of the plastic, creating weak spots. over time and depending on your luck, that marker could get shoved into the pocket you got your keys in... just alittle too hard... and a worn out weak spot cracks or springs a leak and there goes a pair of your designer drawls. leagal disclamer: just one of many possible scenarios which may or may not happen. point is it can WEAKEN the plastic housing and if your putting it in a bingo dabber that you probably gonna be squeezing the shit out of all the time for some wet ass reaches... well my luck just isnt that good.
