its been a while i know... and i doubt many of the people who still post in here remember me.. but i post from time to time to stay in touch so to speak... i have a few new flicks but a lot of what ive been taking lately is skate oriented... ill post what i got and say word to the homies...

i live in san antonio... i think there are guys in brick slayers who live here also.... honestly there isnt a whole lot to do in san antonio... ive lived here for a lil over 2 years almost 3 now and all i do is ride my bike and skate and take photos... i hear the bar scene sucks... and the illegal graff scene here isnt spread throughout town... if its on a specific side of town i havent really found it... i see the same handfull of people up here and there but nothing like other places ive lived... the river walk here looks cool at night and its a kind of unique place for texas.. there are some cool photos to be taken there... "market" is pretty tight on saturdays.. there are a ton of people and shops with cool mexican goods and randomness... uh... theres a few malls... hmmmm there are some kinda cool parks near downtown... the zoo was way more expensive here than in houston and i hear its not that great.. but the park near it is kinda cool... aim = mcchriskills ps if by cool neighborhoods you mean old houses and such check out the king william district and shit i cant remember the other one... ill get back to you

i forgot i had these i actually found this wasp MILES from my house while i was out on my bike.. it was laying, dead on the sidewalk and i carried it home in a sonic cup to take photos of it... i put the cup in my bottle cage if you care... i do things like that sometimes.. i dont keep bugs but i have the knack for finding random things on the ground and bringing them home... odd piles of things around my room

the thing is barley an inch away from my camera... sorry man its just a camera not a microscope... this is just an average sized ant... i got pretty close to it too

it wasnt a lense attatchment or anything... the 5700 just has an amazing lense on it... and i use a tiny tripod.. and yea stuff words and slingshots with paperballs

someone from channel zero will find humor in this i just spent about 20 minutes (at after 3 in the morning) shooting a wad of paper out of a slingshot at a huge fly... yes i said sling shot.. when i hit it it fell but woke up when i was taking pictures.. so i snuffed it out with a cotton ball a cup and some rubbing alochol... then i took pictures... (repost from another message board i visit after getting funny responce from the fly photo and description.....) it was actually pure boredome at work... i was in my bathroom and i heard it buzzing around... and i have this kinda rowdy crossbow "toy" that shoots these plastic darts with suction cups on the end... i really wanted to shoot the damn thing with that.. only i couldnt find darts anywhere... which pretty much made me sad.. so i saw my slingshot.. and used a wad of paper a lil bigger than a marble... and shot and shot and shot... and i even grazed it a few times... it didnt like me shooting at it too much.. it kept protecting itself getting close to the light bulbs... anyway i finally nailed it (i wasnt shooting at a real close range mind you) and it just kinda dropped... when it fell it did that thing fighter planes do when their shot down in movies.. where they kinda spiral nosedive.. anway so i set him up to take photos seeing as he was kinda a bigger fly... and i stand him up (tweezers) and he stands just fine.. it looked like he was still alive.. i set up mi mini tripod and im not getting the light like i wanted... so i spot lighted him with my mag light... and all of a sudden after the light being on him a few minutes he starts walking around... bastard.. thats not helping.. so i pour some rubbing alcohol into a lil paper bathroom cup and pour the excess in the sink...i put the cup upsidedown over the lil bastard and go play tonyhawk a few rounds... when i come back i carefully lift up the cup... not only is the lil bastard still alive he is climbing around on the inside of the cup.. fuck me... soooo.. i soak a cotton ball with the alcohol again.. i put the cup ontop of the cotton ball.. and prolly less than 2 minutes later he is dead on his back lying in the pool of liquid death... lights camera action.... the only problem is now, he wont stand up anymore seeing as he is dead.... the end

omg im sooooooooooo stoked to see it.... its been a long time coming.. rages baby is almost home... thank you again for letting me be part of it also brother... im sure it only got more and more random after it left me...

i made the comment about slide film being expensive to me to process... or for my money and what i want out of my photos... i dont think i even paid 10 bucks the last time i had 35mm film processed... the only thing i dont like about slides that i like about prints or even digital photos is the sharing issue... its too much money for me to really only view in a dark room with a slide projector... for my use of photographs slides are all but useless... maybe for cataloging all the artwork jammed under all the beds in my house and overflowing my closet.. maybe for that.. but for everyday photographs no, not so much... last year (04) i took 3000 photos.. divided by 36 times 12 = wow... that includes brackets and snapshots... but still slides are not for me... sorry for the rant but i was scrolling around 120z for the first time in a week or so and found a post and yea... wait it was a year and a half...

where did you get the raw poppie seeds?

i havent shot with slide film that much... but from what ive heard its real touchy... the colors are more vibrant and you can blow stuff up bigger with higher quality... but its easy to underexpose or over expose... if youre having trouble organizing negatives how would slides be any better?? slide film costs more to process last time i checked... and it has to be sent away unless you go to a real deal processing place..

rage mine did that too,,,, did yours break? or did the flash just stop working... it sucks... mine just stopped working.. i called nikon and they told me i could send it in on my own dime and if it wasnt covered under warrenty (which it sounded like it wasnt) they would fix it... and i could pay for it... and the time it would take was like 6 to 8 weeks... wackness... the guy i talked to said its a characteristic of the cool pics...
