  1. Yeah, that seems like a film that might be fun seeing in the theater, though. I'd probably go see it tonight if it weren't for the World Series game. Wednesday I'm going to see "30 Days of Night".
  2. You're fucking nuts. GTA 1 was awesome.
  3. ^^Hahaha Last night's game was fucking awesome. Feel the wrath of Papajima. Schilling pitched flawlessly, also. Wednesday night's game was more fun to watch, but last night's game was more rewarding. Oh, and I was at Wednesday's game with my pops. Bam. One of the best nights of my life. Anyone who thinks that it's only rich, corporate assholes who go to those games is wrong. It's mostly season-ticket holders and those are the true die-hard fans. It was fucking intense throughout the whole game even though it was a total blowout. I'm predicting the Sox in 6, because the Rockies know that park very well. Those numbers their hitters have, so many of them hitting over .300 with over 100 RBIs, those come from batting in that park. Dice-K pitched well in Game 7 of the ALCS, and he might be okay on Saturday because he's known for his balls-of-steel during big games when he pitched in Japan. But there is equally as big a chance that he will collapse, and the Sox will have a disrupted line-up because of National League rules. Lester could go either way, he pitched real well at the end of the season, but he has gotten into trouble with high pitch counts early in the game, so who knows. If they both lose, Beckett is as close to a sure thing as you can get, so it'll get back to Boston. If it does, then the Rockies are done. Obviously I am routing for the Sox, but as objectively as I can say it, they have the better chance of winning. A professor of mine was offered a free luxury-box ticket to the game and turned it down because he didn't want to be sitting next to "corporate bozos", fucking stupid move. You could sit me next to a giant turd sandwich and I'd still go.
  4. The closest thing to the chase scene from "The French Connection" comes from this movie, also by the same director, William Freidkin. The only downside: the soundtrack was done by Wang Chung. :/ Also, "The Good Shepherd" was a good film, especially if you're into the CIA.
  5. If you're going to pay six bucks for two day access to download a movie, then you might as well pay an extra three dollars to see it in the theater, you xenophobic piece of shit.
  6. Wahhh, Wahhh. Cry some more. Last night's game was probably the most intense games I've watched all season and was what baseball is all about.
  7. Dude, I just watched those Overblood videos. Where the fuck was the blood? You can't call your game "Overblood" and just have some lumberjack in an orange vest wondering around endless, bland, and most importantly empty hallways followed by some gay robo-buddy and eventually some clone-woman for the whole game.
  8. Saturn had Virtua Fighter 2 and Virtua Cop, though. I had the guns for Virtua Cop and I used to wield two of those bitches at once. I played that game for hours and hours. Fifa was pretty nice, too. That's about it.

I have three Bioshock shirts, I'm not lying. Two are bootleg shirts I got off e-Bay, one of those is so crappy that I'm too embarrassed to wear it, the other one is pretty nice. Then the third one is the official shirt that actually does not say "Bioshock" anywhere on it, so I can get away with wearing both the good bootleg and the official shirt and not look like the total fanboy douche that I am.
  10. A lot of people loved that game. I didn't, but a lot of people did. It was ground-breaking on the technical level.

The new Katamari game didn't get such a good write-up in EGM's E3 coverage a couple of months back, and they were all about the PS2 game.
  12. Well, he let four runs in, which is about what he normally does. He normally gives up 2-3 runs at least. That's not a huge problem. The huge problem is that about 70% of the time he gives those runs up, the Sox offense is seemingly incapable of providing ample run support, which is what happened tonight. I mean, we had the bases loaded with one out and Manny steps up to the plate, and what happens? Double-play. We had the heart of the line-up in the eighth, with Youk, Ortiz, and Manny, and what happens? Strike-out, line-out, pop-out. Same shit that has happened consistently throughout the season when it comes to Dice-K games and the Sox down. There have been so few comeback victories for the Sox this whole season. I was lucky enough to be at one in September when Ortiz knocked a 3-run homer against the D-Rays. But if you look at the stats, which I don't have off-hand, you'll see how rare comebacks have been for the Sox this year. I think we can get at least one win in Cleveland, which might be all we need cause it'll get us back to Fenway and the odds are so much better there. I don't know about tomorrow's game cause Wakefield's game really depends on weather conditions more than anything else and if they aren't in favor of his knuckleball, then we are screwed and he won't get out of the fifth inning without giving up multiple runs. If the wind is blowing his way, he'll shut them down no doubt. If we lose, then there is still Beckett pitching game 5 and by all means we SHOULD win that game. Then back to Fenway. Tonight's lose was a heartbreaker, Saturday's lose was a fucking travesty. And BTW, those Cleveland fans are fucking nuts man! They were crazy, swinging those towels around.
  13. Well, Tease thought they would beat the Pats, but I can see how that doesn't count.
  14. Cowboys = smoked. Pats rule!
  15. I can't wait. I kind of hope they leak the whole season onto the net like they did last season, so I don't have to keep waiting a week for each episode. Also, Kanye West sucks. He sucks giant cocks. The dude spends $1,000,000 on a music video and then turns around and says he's "the anti-bling". Stupid fucking cocksucker whore.
  16. After the fiasco that was Grady Little's eighth inning earth-shattering managerial fuck-up, I fell into a deep depression for about a week and had a stomach ache for three days after. That night I literally stayed up all night listening to sports radio trying to wrap my head around what just happened. I was kind of excited when we picked up Gagne because of how he set the MLB consecutive saves record with 84 during the 2003 and 2004 season when he was with the Dodgers. But what a waste of money he turned out to be, it seems like he is totally burnt out, and the way he is pitching I wouldn't be surprised if he never gets his stuff back. At least J.D. Drew started hitting the ball well in September. Gagne, however, has been consistently disappointing at best.

Sorry man, I feel sorrow for anyone who gets the RROD....: ( "Acheivement unlocked" lol.
  18. I agree, he was such a waste of money and he's really fucked us over. At last night's game I went to, when he came out to pitch the ninth some fat townie behind us started yelling "GAG-NEE" and "I'M ZE CANADIAN, AH AM FREAUNCH CANADIAN, DO YOU LIKE MY FREAUNCH SUNGLASSES?" It was actually pretty hilarious. In a way I feel bad for the guy, he seems like a really decent guy, but he's just completely lost his stuff and he's playing like guys do when they completely lose their stuff after having a couple of REALLY hot seasons, and they almost never get it back. I am, a couple of years back he was such an ace closer that he broke the MLB all-time record of most consecutive saves in a row! He must be so depressed right now, I don't care how much money he's getting paid. You can just tell that he loves playing the game, but he just sucks so bad and can't get a break. He must be really depressed and I feel sorry for him. But at the same time he totally sucks, and he was a horrible pick-up and a total letdown. He actually got booed. Booed by a crowd that was standing up at every full count since the first ending, a crowd that was absolutely crazy, the craziest crowd I've ever seen first hand, and I've been to tons of games during my life, since I was five years old. That's over two decades ago. People even cheered for Julio Lugo, but Gagne just got booed.
  19. Youk is one of only 200 or so Jewish ballplayers ever in MLB history, and he's the man. He also holds the record now for most consecutive games at first base without an error in the American League, and if he continues it for I think about 10-20 games or so next season he will break the National League record, also--post season games don't count. He's also the second first-baseman ever to have a 1.000 fielding percentage in a season.
