after reviewing this thread im not sure what to believe...but if what greensleeves said is true about the cd changing design, then for me at least, im interested enough in the spectacle to go and buy two cds...one to witness, and the other to save for collection... i think the point of this whole campaign is to inspire people to use your heads and to stay on your toes, look for the deeper message in the music (thats obvious)...its a kind of excercise for your brain so that you can better examine history and the future...sometimes people need to be reminded that not all is what it seems...i could go on about this i guess but i dont have the patience to type... heres one way to look at this...some parents tell their children to "go play with your friends, heres a toy, now go" , feeding into impulse...then there are parents who try to teach their kids some deep shit about life, you know, something useful and meaningful, something more cerebral...so popular musicains take on the role of parents, often unwillingly, some take that oppurtunity to do something positive, while others could care less...like most parents in this country...NIN inspires the "children" of these parents...i think what they do for some of these kids is plant a seed to try and learn about the world beyond your "muscle memory" (look it up, TOOL ref.)... for the kids who dont need this type of "parenting", the music represents fuel to the fire... i couldnt name 1 NIN song title that hasnt been played on the radio, but i respect what they do...i will listen when i have the time and patience to so...

"why did you have to pick on em." and i only saw the report for about 30 seconds...i wasnt surprised...i remember that day better than 7-11...the shit is inevitable...techmology can and will probably kill you... good luck.
