I like the assignment idea always. I like the season idea...but I don't know if I can do Autumn when I'm ankle deep in snow out my way. What about Winter?

Honest opinion...? Looks like you were trying out using some thin tips to make some "graffiti patterns". The loose ends on the pink lines and the drips off of the white burst/circle should be hidden/covered. Maybe try adding some acrylics layered in sections. *Good color combo. *Has potential. Can be built off of.

I like the red area more than the pink. The pink looks a 'lil too graffiti-tribalish to me. Also looks like you were building off of the idea of a face. (Which isn't necessarily a bad thing) Don't be afraid to just let go of imagery completely when you start...if that's what was happening there. Just my two cents. Overall, a very solid start.
