  1. I use these all the time, so I know they work very well. Use a box cutting knife and tuck in the edges of the felt by stabbing along the four side walls of the base. Works like a charm, very durable. Oh, and yes its folded in a tented shape.
  2. Lookedat! Woodcraft with spring and actuator removed, nib replaced with cb eraser. BAM! Super juicy.
  3. Problem is Rattleytins, most companys don't make their markers with the needs of a hardcore handstylist in mind. Although there is On the Run, Montana, and Bombing markers... all their inks suck, the nibs and flow are always the same, and their mad expensive. Add up the money you spend on designer "bombing" markers in a year and youve got a shitload of money that could've been spent on ink or paint. You're paying for the logo. Its your choice though, I do have my Pilot's always at the ready, and usually a couple OTR's... but homemades just offer far more miliage when it comes to destruction per square inch. Although they can get REALLY messy. Nothing beats those first five tags with a homemade thats bursting with primo home brewed ink. (In my humble opinion) ALSO... good tip Sparo, and no prob Pedro.
  4. ATTN: Pedro!!! For the question about bingo dabbers... I'd suggest that you cut off the sponge part and take out the plastic flow spring, then fill the area where the spring was with chalk board eraser. This is the only way I've gotten satisfactory results with bingo markers.
  5. Met him while painting @ Granville street bridge competition. Good guy, loved graff & life. All love and respect. R.I.P
  6. I'd actually love to hear a reveiw of one of those new jumbo broads they have at Art Primo also. I've just got hooked on face paint markers with Garvey Marsh mix. SO HOT!!! Its the first mop type marker thats really worked well for me. I've used Kiwis with and without the spring valve, and they always die after 2 tags, even on smooth surfaces! The face paint marker drops thick juicy lines (you can squeeze to control flow), has a screw on lid for no worry transporation. Also, the size is sexy and discreet for your pleasure. Its like a dream I had where in Pilot made a whole series of colors for the Pilot silver broad marker/pump system. Imagine the flow and consistency of a Pilot silver broad, but in a variety of highly opaqe colours. Thats what these face paint markers remind me of... but slightly bigger with a perfect circle tip! Also, its not gonna ache if you've gotta toss it. I feel like an asshole because I've passed up these guys after having so many shitty experiences/lost ink from bingo dabbers and shoe polish's. Fuck yeah! I'm very happy. Anyone else?
  7. Yeah, those pump Pentels used to rock, and they were always cheap. Can't find em around here any more.
  8. Thanks panakeii, I think I may have found a place locally, I'll post my results. Better than XT-70 Vilot Garvey??? I hear this is the best (potassium permanganate).
  9. Now if only I could find some PP or GV in Canada. Everywhere I've gone says its been discontinued because safer alternatives are available now. ???
  10. Yo Shai, I've used lots of Nero, and done alot of mixing and it just seems to water down shit. Definetly not for outdoor use. Think of staight Violet garvey outdoors in sun and rain, exept it fades 50% faster. Also when mixed it with black t-grade it just seems to dilute it with fadeablility. I've heard nothing but good shit about it for insides though. It's just seems like black leather dye to me. In any case, Fiebings is better and cheaper. I perfer a 30% Garvey / 70% Marsh mix anyday.
  11. Nerve is right. Even IF you were guilty, there’s no reason to fry yourself. The onus is on the officers to charge you, so don't make their job easier by giving up ANY information at all. If they really had enough to charge you with they probably wouldn't be harassing your dad and threatening you. If they indeed have a case, let them serve you your papers with the actual charge and evidence, then you can make an informed decision. Bottom line... if they have all the evidence they say, they most likely wouldn’t be harassing you, and your papers would be in the mail. With these papers you will get the following: Names of the accused, the officers and witnesses involved, all the evidence including copies of pictures, and/or footage of the offence, and EVERYTHING that you told the officer at the scene (Sometimes if you are unlucky, they will add this >> "Did you do that graffiti?" ACCUSED: "Yes, I did the graffiti." into the statement. They added this to my statement and I still walked on a lack of evidence. Exercise your right to remain silent. In most cases with friends who have gotten charged, it's been their ego that’s gotten the better of them. It's easy to think you can out talk a cop on your own, but wait until you are in front of a judge who’s pissed off, surrounded by your accusing officers. No matter what, it's still your word against his (if he is the key witness). Make sure your parents and friends all know that you didn't do it. Say nothing, and wait for papers. Once you have the ACTUAL evidence in writing, you should be in much better shape for making an informed decision. Are these the papers youve got? Do they have a court date on them? Is it legit?
  12. Tell your supposed legal aid "It wasn't me, DEFINETELY!" stick to your story. Every time I've been caught they have said they have had eye witness. Only once out of a possible 10 times was this true. Only once did I fall for it, never again. Don't EVER admit to anything in Canada. Unless of corse they have a video of you and they have shown this to you before trial (they have to) I've even had a cop falsify my statement in court. Also I've had the video evidence card pulled, and failed. STICK TO YOUR STORY. P.S. For obvious reasons (online vandal squad patrols) I can't tell you my name over the net, but I like your stuff Seko. You have MAD potential, just don't chicken out because of the legal shit.
  13. You really should just look in the marker modification or ink recipe threads for all the information you need to know. Pilot will give you a much better ink, nib, and all around quality/quantity result though. Nice thick coverage and better miles per gallon on the ink tip.
  14. Ahhh Seko, if they have a record of your ups, and the officer has some type of hard evidence, (which he probably doesn't) unless he caught you in the act. You may have to write a letter of apology to crown council and/or community service. Best bet is to defend yourself and state that you have done nothing as legal aid will try to get you to plead guilty for reduced service.. The onus is on them. I've been through this many times in this city. Just say no.
  15. Bithches be tossen up pussy... Its crazy yo?!?!?!?!
  16. I did not think that I was drinking it, but shit! You ever been had by the red shit ???
  17. Say what you will, the Chapelle show is breaking down racial bariers I never thought motherfuckers would. ITS FUNNY!!! BOTH WHITE AND BLACK PEOPLE ARE FUCKIN SUPERFICIAL!!! HAR FUCKIN HAR!! SERIOUS HONKEY..
  18. Yo Starz, I wouldnt mind doing some battles for August... are you planing on starting some new August shits? Will there be proffesional judgeing? Whats the score? Thanks.
  19. Lets keep Vancouver on the map. Some of the illest handstyles I've seen in my life have been in Van; ie. Remio, Kaput, Kover, etc....
  20. Nice start to what could become a great thread!
  21. pure raw graffiti. uninfluenced style. dedicated bombing. I dig it. There is a big difference between people who "try" to write graffiti, and people who just do. To me Tox is graffiti without the glossy bullshit. Pure.
  22. If you are as good as or better than the writer on the train... giver. If there is a fresh car to be had, I'd rather hit it.
