  1. The point was that Ireland now has it's own godhates(whatever).com, it doesn't need to be read. But, if you are that interested, one of the colleges invited Phelps to speak, and then withdrew the invite. Caligula, I've been here since 2000, fuck a post-count-pedigree
  2. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Baby 81 Blanche - Little Amber Bottles
  3. I saw that episode with the horse - at one point you can see it has horse shoes...
  4. Joining the proud ranks of top nations.....: http://www.godhatesireland.com I knew we could do it, if we all pulled together (total homo) :)

  7. Re: HELP NAME MY NEW DOG Qwanzabot
  8. show me the proof. Quoted post [/b] I have this book that says so. It was told by God to my hamster Mandarinky (may-he-live-past-the-average-rodent-age). The book is both tiny, and holy. Feel free to prove otherwise, but before you do, you should know that Mandarinky (may-he-live-past-the-average-rodent-age) knows your book is a lie.....
  9. I respect your opinions, And I respect your ability to discuss this without being disrespectful towards muslim women (unlike some people). I just wanted to focus on the above words. I wanted to ask what did Man ever create? and when I say create I mean from nothing. Without molecules and atoms and energy, because these things are also from God's creation, And everything is made up of molecules, atoms, neutrons, energy etc. So , then did humans create that? Of course not, Humans can fashion things from elements that already exist, but thats not the creativity I was talking about. Only God can create something from nothing, see what I'm saying? And as far as God revealing a way of life to humankind informing them how to live in the best manner, well to me, that doesn't seem Un Godly at all, As a matter if fact , It seems like this is what a responsible, loving, merciful God would do. Unless God is into chaos , then he would just leave us here to figure it all out on our own with no guidance. Quoted post I don't believe god created the universe from nothing. A "responsible, loving, merciful God" would not expect people to infer his existence through the medium of dog piss.
  10. This is no better than playing with ray guns and screaming "Well *I* had an invisible forcefeild up!" when you get shot. "Yes, but all other religions are Idolatry." Lets say someone, lets call her bodice, has a vague belief in something larger going on in the universe, but no particular god as such. Maybe she feels comfort in the knowledge that she will never be clear on exactly what is going on. Occasionally this belief teeters on the edge of nature worship. You say "Worshiping nature is Idolatry because its is worshiping the created, instead of the creator, Allah." I say, "I don't believe it is a creation, I think it's a tiny part of a larger force. Men create, and I think its silly to assume gods spend their time doing what men do." get it? You say "But if someone said Allah got burned and died or hung on a cross and died , I could not beleive them , because nobody could do this to God." I say "If god gives directions like a man, that can be understood by men, that can be reduced to words for men, what's godly in that? If someone tells me they have the word of god in book form, I could not believe them, because nobody could do this to god." Its all opinion. Personally I like it like that.
  11. sooooo....if some one defiles a mosque, allah winks out of existence? you know, your making this god of yours' sound incredibly insecure and childish.... Quoted post I don't understand your logic, because Allah is not a mosque, Allah is the creator, A mosque is just a place dedicated to his worship. It doesn't benefit Allah if we worship him, nor does it take away from his greatness if we don't. It only benefits the person who worships to worship God. Theres another narration from the prophet that says .."if all of the people of the world who ever lived from the past and present generatons asked Allah for whatever they could think of from his bounties and he granted it to them, It still wouldn't decrease Allah's bounties (meaning what he owns) In the least bit. Not even as much as the person who sticks his finger in the ocean and takes out a little water on his fingertip. Also, I don't think I am making Allah sound insecure and childish, it's just that what I am writing is going through your brain filter, and not reaching you right. Quoted post [/b] Don't try that with me, you understand my logic just fine. If the infidels who have succeeded in avoiding a particular religion altogether are expected to infer *their* own belief systems' inferiority because of a random Act of Dog against one of its symbols, then it follows that should something unpleasant occur to a symbol or place of worship for Islam, the entire religion is undermined. I've yet to see any of your arguments in this thread rise above the level of "I know you are, but what am I?", eg "Yes, but *your* beliefs are false, Islam is not." Well, DUH, everyone thinks their religion or beliefs are correct, and they can all rationalise them too. No one can prove it one way or the other - so there is no call to be an arrogant jerk about it. http://www.google.ie/search?q=%22argument+...f&start=10&sa=N

  14. http://www.rte.ie/news/2005/0926/northpolitics.html IRA has completed disarmament: de Chastelain 26 September 2005 The head of the Independent International Commission on Decommissioning has said that he is satisfied that the IRA has completed its disarmament. General de Chastelain said the decommissioning body had reported to the Irish and British governments that it had observed and verified events to put beyond use all of the arms in the IRA's possession. He said the arms decommissioned included ammunition, rifles, machine guns, mortars, missiles, handguns, explosives and explosive substances.

  16. Most people I've spoken to were more horrified by how poor New Orleans is. I don't think anyone here imagines there are people that poor in the US.....

  20. I do think it's moral justification for beating some ones ass. But some people aren't in a position to be handing out beatings (and I don't mean gay people, anyone...). Whether or not you have to put up with some fuck head picketting your funeral should NOT depend on whether or not the people attending are able-bodied young men.
  21. moral indignation is moral indignation. And it doesn't entitle you to beat the shit out of anyone. I don't care if you don't like my comparison, it holds up just fine.
  22. its not a million miles away from a lynch mob though is it? enraged by the idea of, say, a black man sleeping with a white woman. Morally enraged people aren't entitled to hand out justice....
  23. doesn't this argument basically amount to saying that marines and their families have more rights because they are more violent than gay people? Thats no way to run a society....
