    haha how ignorant!

    that's so pointless to say, science and religion are two different things and they are not suppose to compete with eachother, BUT when your religion is "science" , you fight against all the religions that believe in a God, because although your intellectual age might be high your spiritual age is way behind , and that causes your denial. not only God or religions, everything that is not "officially" accepted, making you no different than a cult follower.

     

    wow. you honestly think that people whos views of the world are rooted in science, a community whos sole job it is to question our surroundings and attempt to prove and disprove ideas through intensive study, are akin to the followers of heavens gate, the church or LDS, christianity or any other religion? i think you may need to revisit the concepts of science and religion and make sure you understand them prior to making statements like the one above.

    I would say we can respect anyone artistically who has always been doing what they do. Not to sound all "punk rock 4 life dude!!" but the majority of bands and artists out there are corporate puppets. you have gay little tattooed, swoopy haired "punk rock", you have the minstrel show that is "rap", you have slick, patriotic "country music" that only appeals to white americans with the IQ of a retarded child....the majority of artists that are making money are vessels for the marketing teams of record companies who seem to think everyone wants the dumbest, lamest shit ever when it comes to music (and apparently they are right). for that matter, the same can be said for cinema, authors, etc. if you approach being an artist with the attitude that youre going to do what you love and if the money comes, its a bonus, then youre solid in my book. if you set out to make money from the get go then fuck you....go sell cars or some shit. youre an assclown.

    people that fit into this category for me include...queens of the stone age, hunter s thompson, chuck palahniuk, mop, jonny cash, darren aronofsky, quentin tarantino, john krakauer, vincent cassel and, yes, christopher walken. if i was in hollywood this would be my ideal running crew.

    actually, no...thats all dudes. ill have to think of some women to throw in there.

    i wish ebay auctions had their own message boards...

    two majority rule records that i never got a chance to buy. both limited pressings.

     

    i just made it up to myself by buying a limited turbonegro 7 inch (500 copies) along with a second copy of the new pelican 10 inch (purple with pink spatters) and a limited repress of isis "sea of red" on clear purple vinyl with a demo on the b-side to go with my original 10 inch pressing....
