yes clearly....

 

however the shit I want to rip doesnt come in .pls

 

but dont worry about it anymore....

I think I might have it figured out.

 

plus I dont even have to listen to it as it streams!

wild effyoo... that's exactly my motivation too!

 

first you need Windows Media player 7 +

( I say just get 7 because you probably dont use WM anyway, so fuck 9)

 

Then you can get WMRecorder 9 or 8.

9 will cost you.

 

there's a 'live' mode that is hard to use,

and a 'url' mode where you just punch in the addy

and it will record the asf stream to your drive,

and in the background while you listen to other stuff!

not much of a difference except the GUI.

Now just convert the asf to mp3 or wave and you're rocking out with the sock out.

yes mamski... that could work nicely.

 

effyoo.... right click the 'Listen ADSL/CABLE' button and check the properties.

That should give you a URL ending with .asx.

paste that into the ripper.

haha thanks Key, you would have thought i knew that...

 

do you know anything about getting .ram streams? i found one, but its only a trial version that lets you record 40 seconds at a time and you have to listen to it as well.
