floss

i went to the dentist yesterday. After he flossed

my gums were gushing. He told me

that by not flossing; plaque is able to build up and

that plaque is packed with bacteria. This bacteria not only

causes your gums to receed but also results in bone loss.

Some bone loss is natural as you age but as you lose

more gums and bone you begin to lose teeth. The more

your gums receed the harder it is to keep food and plaque from

building up in hard to reach areas. Im assuming we are all

young adults or sorta young adults. I dont know about anybody

else but i dont want to be walking around at 40 missing

teeth or having to go to the dentist every 2 months for some

fuct up oral procedure. I have never in my 23 years been one

to floss. I cant even really do it right i was fumbling through my

teeth tonite and it hurt and i bled and it took a while.

The good news is that once you start flossing it ceases to

hurt, your gums are healthier and you can breeze through

that shit. I have this new dentist that gives me the gas every

time i come in. I bought this Orange flavored adaptor thing

and my gas tastes like fruity pebbles. I kinda like dentist office

gas. Its better than when i was 17 huffing on tanks. The dentist

gives it to you slower. I was actually happy when he told me that

i needed to come back in 4 months instead of 6. Unfortunatly

the reason i have to come back sooner is because i have bad

gingivitis and if i dont floss regularly i will have serious problems

oh... and dont EVER brush into your gums.

Away from the gums, or else! I know some people

who brush into the gums because they have tiny teeth

and they want the gums to recede a bit, but that will

only fuck up your 'grill' faster than father time already does.

I'm guilty of brushing into the gums. I got two teeth on top tat the gums go so far back up you can see the upper part of the tooth. I remember my dentist saying if it kept going like that it might necessitate doing a gum graft, like a skin graft but with gum? Wtf, I want no part in that. I don't floss too often but I use mouth wash every night, which I heard is good if you don't floss often. But I think I'll floss tonight, because this shit is gross.

I know some younger people (between 18 and 23) that are

straight up missing teeth just because they dont take care

of their shit. And the longer you let that shit go the worse it

gets. I couldnt imagine being 20 and losing a front tooth

or having a root canal or a tooth pulled because it is rotted out.

Thats just unacceptable. Im going to start using mouth

wash. I hear the new listerene doesnt even taste too bad. I

know some kids that smoke glass and their teeth are rotting

from the core. their shit is all brown and gray by their gums. that shit

is way fucked up. It isnt even a film its the tooth decaying from inside out.

yeah. floss and leave the tweak alone or you will

have a nasty ass grill and only gap tooth skanks

helpful hint:

use listerine after you floss so that your gums dont get infected after getting all torn up(=bacteria in open wounds). mostly it just stops my mouth from hurting.

I wish i was a dentist. Every time that fuckwad

cleans my teeth its mad dollars. Im only in there

for 30 mins tops. Everything he does costs $$$$. I

may be wrong on these figures but no too far off;

Thats like $230 an hour. The part that gets me is

why is he charging $45 extra to examine my teeth

isnt he doing that when hes scraping and cleaning?

This is just a basic cleaning visit. I felt he was

ripping me off so i changed dentists and now im with

the gas man. I couldnt imagine the price for actual

surgery, caps, root canal, its cheaper to get that shit

pulled than getting a root canal.

Anybody that thinks brushing is played out has another

my dentist used to be a runway model from somewhere in europe

and she used that money to go to dental school and set up an

office over here. Now she's still pretty hot for a woman in her 40's

but all of her dental assistants are smoking hot european girls.

I swear I'm going to develop some strange denist fetish because

of these cutie euro girls. damn... time for a cleaning!

hes kind of a sleaze bag to boot. However,

after the first cleaning (ive only been there once)

he asked me what i wanted. I was like what

are you talking about. He was refering to pain

meds. He wrote me a scrip for 6 vicodins

he was being a fucker with the gas too

he was talking all sorts of shit and he

kept threatening to turn it off on me.

I used to go to a guy that was super liberal with the gas.

My Pop's friend went there and this guy is a serious drinker

and smoker. The dentist figured his resistance was way up

so instead of the 30:70 nitrus:oxygen blend he gave him 90:10.
