eraserewind Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 it really makes me uncomfortable to see that hippie get fucked up by the police like that at coachella... but at the same time, fuck him. you can clearly hear the cop telling him that he can stay and have a good time, just put some clothes on. dude made a scene and tried to prove a point for no reason at all... the cops obviously used excessive force, and I'm interested to see how this will play out. Have/will the cops be suspended or disciplined? the guy wasn't complying, but three fat cops tase-ing bro and dropping knee bombs on him is pretty fucked... Have/will the cops be suspended or disciplined? the guy wasn't complying, but three fat cops tase-ing bro and dropping knee bombs on him is pretty fucked... dude i remember when i was 15 me and all my other 15-17 year old friends had the entire block we chilled on shut down COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN end to end no one was leaving this was a huge orchestration of atleast a hundred cops, paddy wagons, narcs were there, no exaggeration ok we commited no crime other than hanging out (and breaking into the 50c claw machine and selling the stuffed animals inside for ins but they didnt know that) so after this ridiculous police raid on a bunch of little kids i seen two people get the love of jesus beat out of them by 20 cops each FOR SMOKING A CIGARETTE WHEN THE COP TOLD THEM TO PUT IT OUT THAT IS EXCESSIVE FORCE OK not bieng naked in public high out of your mind while cops are corteously trying to reason with you and pleading with you to behave. I'd say tasing him and dropping knees on him is excessive. those cops are(or at least should be) trained in restraint techniques. it shouldn't have taken more than 1 one of those butterballs, using about 30% effort, to drop and cuff homeboy. that's all i'm saying.... but like i said fuck him, your story is a prime example of why. the cops didn't have to try to be "cool" about it, but he acted like a douche. its quite a moral conundrum as i dislike both cops and hippies.
