Mostly a RTD crew. DYP wasn't that big, but caught rep off the beef they had with STP. Then caught more rep when they killed some dude outside a party who only said he was down with STP. He wasn't even in it. Crazy thing was that while they were beating this poor guy to death, they all had DYP personalized clothing. Stood for Destroying Your Property. USC vs NBT battle in 92, maybe 93 was epic. Everyone thought NBT had it, but USC won. TLZ formed back in 94 I believe. If you never heard of MCP, you must have never gone to Van Nuys in the early 90's. Most turned BVN when the greenlight first came out. One dude, Krise MCP moved out to Southgate and they did a little out there for a minute. If I remember correctly, it actually started in LA, maybe south central. Shit, I almost got in USC in 94, but ended up just building my crew instead. A12 is still my homie. I remember seeing TLZ up with my own eyes in 94-95. Can't remember any of the names though. I don't even know what NAV is.
