Murdoc1
What would you do? Would you keep goin? Or does it lose some of the fun when its legit?
GUNR
well in looking deep in it i would say it will never be . think about it . if graff was legal everyone would have a tag rockin. that means people would have beef and be killed off more. no wall wouldnt be wet . fumes would kill us if we didnt wear a resp . the ozone layer prolly would hole up . and you could never become famous . it wouldnt even be competitive. so no i like graff just the way it is . maybe fewer piglets around but still its better than old people throwin it up . my 2 cents
loaftie
chillspots ARE pretty much legal, ive been painting in nothing but chillspots for 3 days now and fuck i havent had a single problem at all, so its basically like its legal
josefstrat@yahoo.com
^^^thats really not what he meant. there sure would be a lot more crappy graffiti that i would have rather not seen. And im pretty sure they wont make billboards legal to climb up, or tresspassing wont be legal, so not every spot will be legal.
kendoner
tell u the truth...if graff was legal...it wuld be borin...dats wat makes it fun...cuz then if its legal then there wuld be no point except the art...dont get me wrong, im all for the art, but destruction is a major part in graffiti and if it was legal then it takes all the fun out of it...think about it...wen ur out there late nights 2 in the a.m., mayb drugged up, watchin 4 da laws, all incogneto...dats one of the best feelings in the world...even better than sex...haha...not really...but yea if graff was legal...it wuld suck...in my opinion
GrafWizard
We could all refer back to what Bansky has to say... "Imagine a city where graffiti wasn't illegal, a city where everybody could draw wherever they liked. Where every street was awash with a million colours and little phrases. Where standing at a bus stop was never boring. A city that felt like a living breathing thig which belonged to everybody, not just the estate agents and barons of big business. Imagine a city like that and stop leaning against the wall- it's wet."

chyea
yeah i feel not legalizing it. that also would take the fun out of a legal wall. to me if you hit a legal wall thats a big accomplishment
¤Shark¤
Legalising it.....and whos president? or Prime Ministeer?..hahha Okay, if it did happen, there would be so much shit over the place it would be like walking through a dark room, dull, lifeless, and just shit to look at, however, on the other hand legalising it might get all the toys off the street, cause they only do it to look cool etc: and then we'd see real art emerge, like pieces that can be seen oh so publically. Pace1
It would be shit. Wall's full of shit toy styles... We'd all die of global warming somehow... BUT If there were no toys and you had to achieve like a license to do pieces in public then that would be sick... Imagine walking through a town full of tight burners. Murdoc1
It would be shit. Wall's full of shit toy styles... We'd all die of global warming somehow... BUT If there were no toys and you had to achieve like a license to do pieces in public then that would be sick... Imagine walking through a town full of tight burners. That would be pretty interesting, you gotta take a graff test like a driving test, some written stuff, like true or false, Seen is a blackbelt martial artist. Then the actual bombin part, then end it with a piece, get a pretty little permit that says Certified G, then you go on your merry little way..or someone just buys a whole lot of real-estae and makes it the Amsterdam of graffiti. ¤Shark¤
HAHAHHA....that gloal warming idea is great though. lets just force it from us, to only the toys, since they are responsible for it all.
NOSHIT
If graff was legal, everything would have shit on it and there would be nothing 2 cap. So some other writer will come up and just cap that untouched peice. then beef would happen. Also it takes the fun of doing shit. Like you bomb a wall..and you drive past it next morning laughing to yourself because you know the owners will probably get really pissed off. If it was legal..there wouldnt be that humour anymore. Also toys would still exsist. Mainly toys are usauly scared and intimidated to do shit..but if its legal..they will do there shit in more places then before.
