Use your XBox 360 controller with your Mac

xbox360_controller.jpgI don't own an XBox 360, but I hear that it is the best thing to come out of Redmond for a long, long time. Now, if you are a Mac user and an Xbox 360 owner you might be keen to hook up your XBox's controller to your Mac for some Mac gaming fun. Sadly, you have been out of luck in that regard, that is until Colin Munro whipped up some OS X drivers for it. Now you can gleefully kill things on your Mac and not have to get used to another control (it even supports force feed back).

to tell you the truth, i don't know if you want to fuck with any tweaks

there is the ati tool that will run by itself and it will give you the proper settings

to not blow up your video card. just save the profile when it's done scanning all of the settings.

note that this will take up to 24 hours and you shouldn't use your computer at that time

the drivers themselves do have some improvements that should work without any tweaking.

Sweden Police Crack Down on File-Sharing

Police Raid 10 Locations in Sweden, Shut Down Popular Web Site; 3 People Detained for Questioning

STOCKHOLM, Sweden May 31, 2006 (AP)— In a crackdown on suspected illegal file sharing, police raided 10 locations in central Sweden and shut down a popular site called The Pirate Bay. Three people were detained for questioning.

Three Swedes, ages 22, 24 and 28, were suspected of violating copyright laws but had not been formally arrested, police spokesman Ulf Goranzon said. He said they were linked to The Pirate Bay.

The actions were applauded by the Motion Picture Association of America, which claims movie studios lost $6.1 billion to piracy last year.

Porn Worm Drops Spyware on Unsuspecting PC Users

"In many cases, adware is a legitimate revenue source for companies that offer software free to users," Ken Dunham, senior engineer at iDefense, told TechNewsWorld. "Unfortunately, it's being abused for criminal gain. It has digressed into an environment where hackers are using it on a daily basis."

A new spyware program called DigiKeyGen is luring the unwary with a claim to provide free access to online pornographic content. It's hardly a new tactic, but Panda Software has discovered yet another instance of this time-tested social engineering ploy.

DigiKeyGen is found on a Web page that allows visitors to download a password generator in order to access adult resources that users would normally have to pay for. When users run DigiKeyGen, they receive passwords that supposedly allow them access to pornographic Web sites.
