damn. thought about getting a usb 2.0 pci card?

that would make things faster for your x drive.

relatively cheap, too.

sounds like the reason why transfers are slow on

your pc.

your x drive is probably usb 2.0 but your computer only

has usb 1.0 (i know this because i'm psychic)

dammit mainter got to it before i got to it.

you are david blaine. but i'm psychic.

how do you load linux on one of the xbox 360 HDs?

are those links to xbox scene actually worth delving in to?

you do not load it into the xbox360 harddrive you will have to go buy a new harddrive and replace it and load it with linux if you have no experince in doing this stuff i would not make this your first 1000 gaming machine is just not worth it

like casek said they have alot of security in them and shit

this is a major hack right now so if you want to i will give you the tutorial to do so if you want

How do I get a OMG file to an AVI file so I can burn it to a dvd?

First of all, it's OGM and not OMG, and it stands for "ogg media" container. The important thing to remember is that OGM, like AVI, is a container format. It just encloses audio and video streams, it is not an audio or video format itself. The actual video codec in use is probably XviD or some other mpeg4-based codec. The type of video codec and the type of the container file format are two completely seperate things. But that's getting off into a whole other tangent...

With that out of the way, you can probably just rename it to .avi and use tmpgenc. The renaming works because tmpgenc just relies on the installed codecs and splitters to open the input file anyway, so as long as you have OggDS installed that operation will succeed.

If the above does not work, you can repack the file in the AVI container format, and then convert that with tmpgenc.

so,

i got my wireless laptop set up at my place, but i live in the basment type deal, so i never had any signal. Now I have found one, and it's pretty strong (more little bars, haha). But it's still saying "Limited or No Connectivity". I dont get why. I have been able to connect to wireless networks with way less of a signal. Is it the network? Is there something I could change?? Something about teh IP address,,!!?!??! HELP! I need internet at home mayng. an, i dont wanna pay, that shit's for the birds.
