yeah dude. did you see the projection monitor?

mainter posted a pic of it, i think. i posted a link a page or so ago

to that laser one that is touch sensitive holographic ish.

the future seems pretty bright for technology. wish i could keep

up with all the new gadgets. would take more time.

i have read a few headlines and articles that say sony is having

probs with that new cell processor, but it promises to be something to

reckon with once completed and debugged.

tech is amazing. the tongue clamp that lets humans have dolphin like sonar inside

their heads, the new vr rooms, the vr sidewalk that makes a small room

seem like whatever vast place or city environ you're virtually in.

(find it on newscientist.com) all japanese tech.

i'm stoked. my kids are gonna play with bad ass toys.

p.s.: if you need a password for newscientist go to bugmenot.com

Open Norton AntiVirus 2005/06 - Click "Options"-- Click "Internet Worm Protection"--- Make sure "Enable Internet Worm Protection recommended" is checked.--- Click "Trojan Rules"---- Uncheck "Unused Windows Services Block", (all the way at the bottom of the list)----"OK"---"OK"

goto general rules within the internet worm protection, add a new rule, you need to permit your Incoming TCP Listen Port(tools-options-connection)

Re: «<< 12Oz Computer Tech Support >>>

had an idea. gonna aska question i'm not totally interested in.

actually, a two-part

ok, so i want to set up a video surveillance system for my house.

(front porch, back deck, driveway)

i'm on a budget and can only spend a few hundred bucks. i have a nice computer

with a video capture card already in it. give me some radio shack type prices.

second: i want to set up one of those wired home thingies i always see on the television.

what do i need? what is this x-10 stuff i hear so much about

how would i go about incorporating this stuff into my tv so i can monitor my house while in different parts? (like the people in mtv cribs)

can i do it on a budget?
