MisPantalonesEstaEnfuega
I've been making songs in garageband and when you bounce them to itunes they save as a AIFF which is downright huge. I need a way to convert them to mp3s and since I have only been using a mac for like 3 weeks I have no idea. I looked at zdnet for something to download and got nothing. any help is greatly appreciated.
MrChupacabra
itunes should have the converter in it. Just do whatever it is you have to do on macs that is the same as right clicking on a pc and there should be a convert to mp3 option.

MisPantalonesEstaEnfuega
thanks! I tried that program it seems really easy, just drag, drop, converted. Only problem is it doesn't seem to be dropping. I'm sure i'll figure it out. As for the right click function in itunes i found under "advanced" it has a "convert selection to mp3" but it's unclickable.

MisPantalonesEstaEnfuega
I figured out the converter program but it won't let me convert anything above 500k without paying...
avils
sure man, just click here and have a read. i think you end up with duplicate files so you might want to go in and delete the AIFF afterwards.. nahmean?
Fabo 2
itunes go to preferences, select convert to mp3 some very high quality aiffs can't be converted, which you can get round by selecting the aiff, and giving it a lower bit rate, also through itunes.
