SerialSkiller
OKay, already remixed the black and heres the new actions. its a ultra flat black, thick and drippy (not as thick as before though so way more drips). closeup and a little far. Again, shitty ass no-flash camera. this is paint not ink right?....if so, why would anybody use this over say...a good black ink?
sk8er6
does anyone know where to buy pigments to toss into white oil/enamel paint?
asdf_va!
this is paint not ink right?....if so, why would anybody use this over say...a good black ink? Preference. Paint can be way smoother than ink. Thicker... if you will. So while it doesn't have the stain of ink... It does have the opacity to really cover any surface you hit. I like both. TeezerPHM
yeah asdf_va! pretty much said what I was gonna say. Also, I wasn't even planning on making a black because you can just buy krink or DED if you want black but people asked me for it so it is out there now. Plus, black ink can still fade as opposed to black paint.
sk8er6
not to mention you can buy WAY more paint than if you spent the same money on ink. EDIT: if you remember that blue ink i made with scotch guard, it faded into black, and lasted about 2 months before getting illegible. asdf_va!
^^didn't you use a million ink pens and squeeze out the ink from the pen tubes to make that? Or was that someone else?
sk8er6
yup, that was me. i did it in a lazier way though, cut the pen tubes into a million tiny pieces, and did it carbon paper style
TeezerPHM
ink from regular pens is not bad at all, just takes a lot of pens. I made some sick purple out of red and blue pens.
SHAUN RFC
Haha. Art Primo e-mailed me back. I said I am looking to purchase some of the new DED mops. How much? And they replied What's a DED mop? Hahahahahaha lol try again and say DO*EM*DIRTY not D*E*D

knowon
Junobo: you should make a deal that's like ten empty mini mops for (blank) dollars. I like your paint, but it only seems to work well in your mops, so I feel like I'm wasting it in anything else.
slipone
Junobo Paint works great in Oink Mini Mops. well for me they do.
Skag
Rogue bro don't you sell those DED mops? If so, could you PM you and we could sort out an order possibly including some of your pink ink or red mop paint?
xROGUEx
I sell them Empty or filled with my paint. I wish I had them full of DED though. Maybe in the future, I'll talk to Shaun about it.
sk8er6
use INK instead of paint ink drips more, ink works in markers (paint works in mops) and glue pens arent exactly the new cutting edge shit. they been out a long time, theyre not like otr markers they are just ZIG MARKERS. like the posterman, woodcraft, illumigraph, wet erase sign markers, montana markers, ETC. if you want OTR markers, get markal jumbos and dump the paint out. i know this is an old post, but the paint in promax's(AKA jumbo's) are pretty dope. sk8er6
glue pens t shirt cotton tip modification house paint and alcahol :) bump this shit. next time your racking at hobby lobby, grab some nice, bright acrylic from the clearance AND PAY FOR IT.(not so suspicious then) get some of that mint scented alcohol (its just nice) and thin it like ghetto/homemade krink. have fun. i got this BRIGHT PINK. rainfall
Okay, usually people use Rusto Oil-based paints and mix it with thinner, or even using One-Shot paint. But I got to wondering, can you use Oil paints used for painting and just super thin it with mineral spirits or maybe even that linseed oil/thinner? This would give me more access to multiple colors for my mops and what-not. I only ask this now instead of trying this cuz I dont feel like making a bike-trip all the way to the other side of town to pick some shit up at Michael's. Much love and all the bs. snack5
I got some india ink today, any way i can thin it and make it buff proof?
asdf_va!
Not really. You don't want to thin out inks. Isn't India ink water based? Who knows this one?
snack5
Not really. You don't want to thin out inks. Isn't India ink water based? Who knows this one? I think you can thin it with water, but it gets less permanent.
asdf_va!
Ok... If it's water based... there are chemicals that are water soluble and you can add to it to stain like crazy. It will get buffed, but will leave a stain behind. Get up with Oink if he hasn't taken off yet, and he can hook up with the goods for a good price. If you can't afford the chems, they truly are cheap, or are not old enough to order online or whatever... You can go a really great route of making a simple tuff ink from pinching out the black/blue ink from ink pens into container and little by little adding alcohol to the ink to thin it out. Pen ink is mad thick. A few people on here have tried and accomplished this effectively. I believe Smooth-N had a killer recipe for wallnut ink. Search for it in this thread. That's some amazing from scratch shit too! Hope some of this helps. Good Luck.

asdf_va!
You can use ANY oil based paint. Doesn't have to be 1-Shot or Rusto. Get busy with what you can find. Just stick with the oil-based. Good luck.
