reviser Posted March 9, 2007 Share Posted March 9, 2007 i like my clouds so u can fuck off if you ask for criticism, I'd suggest not getting too defensive about your work. for a first try on canvas, I dont think its that bad, but I do agree with other people on this board as far as developing letters and stuff. You filled the canvas up pretty well and the color contrasts are good. Just have to keep working on your technical execution as well as letter development. Remember that this is a canvas so you have all the time and energy to clean lines, clean backgrounds, change backgrounds, all of that artsy fartsy shit. Remember that patience is a virtue. I would also say that you should never be too content with the end result. I am always guilty of this and was notorious for it when I started, I was lazy. You also have to consider looking at it and be real with yourself and ask "would I want this in my home?" there is just so much crap to consider. Remember to always have honest people close by to tell if you if you suck.
