hill billy
Thank you for the comment. I don't have anymore prototype replications because this was my first one. The next car that I want to paint (after the 3 bay hopper given to me by Triples) is this one I'm searching yards and the net for this style car with the graffiti and weathering that I want to replicate Mine has a different number and needs some work. hill billy
Almost your same car. But from 1968!! What would this car look like in 2010? (Note the door has an entirely different style) http://rrpicturearchives.net/rsList.aspx?id=CBQ&cid=2 Here's a list of alot of Chicago Burlington & Quincy boxcars. Our models are not on it. hill billy
I just got these two today. $25 for both. The GP9 high nose is a dummy. ^^This is what I have in mind. Only GP35 209 does not have a dynamic brake blister. Mine obviously will. I found that most of the springfield terminal GP35's have a high nose. 209 was the first one I found that didn't. ST 51 shouldn't give me any problems.
Ko SprueOne
$25. for both, SCORE Do you usually paint your trains (scale model) with an AB? Good photo sourcing and thanks for that link and picture above
hill billy
I use spray paint & tape off spots. Sometimes Acrylic. Oil paint work best. Really should get an air brush. Gotta find Guilford decals. I'm sure I'll pull it off. P.S. Your welcome for the link & picture.
