Tyler Durden Posted October 12, 2002 Author Share Posted October 12, 2002 http://www.fotango.com/p/eba00259602f00000011.jpg'> http://www.fotango.com/p/eba00259602f00000012.jpg'> http://www.fotango.com/p/eba00259602f00000013.jpg'> http://www.fotango.com/p/eba00259602f00000014.jpg'> http://www.fotango.com/p/eba00259602f00000015.jpg'> http://www.fotango.com/p/eba00259602f00000017.jpg'> and heres my short review of "caution": ....some people call these guys "emo"....fuck that. i dont think theres anything remotely "emo" about HWM. theyre exceptional live. they put alot of energy into their music which is something i dont think enough bands do nowadays. the only other band i think has as much energy as HWM was At The Drive In. and theyre just not around anymore, unfortunately. its my understanding that HWM releases an album every year and a half or so. thats not too shabby. considering that they all pretty much kick ass and dont show signs of slowing down really. caution is the latest edition to this. after listening to it quite a bit over the past 12 hours ive come to the conclusion that its a little more fast and upbeat then some of the their other stuff. however, that "rawness" is still present pretty much throughout the whole album, which is why i like them. i think the standout tracks on here are probably "remedy" and "trusty chords" theyre very sexceptional. word. if you like HWM youll like the new album. there. now go buy it.
